It’s honestly laughable, everyone begs him to play the kids as well, today he starts monga and page and everyone is now moaning saying it’s a horrible lineup 😂

Jesus Christ if that starting XI isn’t a cry for help to the Board to spend some of the £45m we’ve recouped I dont know what else to say. 
 

It isn’t a slight on the young lads who are involved but the Championship is a tough division and they should be able to ease in gently but it looking increasingly likely we’re pinning our hopes on them. 
 

Skipp and Soumare as the midfield is just soul destroying. 
 

We’ve gone from Tielemans, Maddison, Dewsbury-Hall and Barnes to that midfield in 3 years it’s shambolic

Or how about collective protest and show our ownership we’re not having this anymore?

We're not on Cifuentes's back. It's clear that he has nothing to work with and is working under clowns.

Nothing to do with the kids, I’d prefer to see Page and Monga play. It’s seeing Soumare, Vestergaard and Thomas on the pitch still….. I’d rather us play Hamza, Nelson and Coulibaly.

I agree wholeheartedly, but honestly fifteen minutes in, when Soumare is strolling around, and there's zero creativity, tell me your mind won't be wandering to thoughts of why Winks, (who changed the game against Sheffield) isn't playing.

The poo bit are the premier league blooded and international players. Need to improve on Soumare, Skipp, Vestergaard, Ayew, Choudhury. Page and Monga are this starting XI's most redeeming quality.

He’s on a free hit at the moment but we’ve been on this track before we’ve had a few seasons of seeing underperforming players being consistently picked for no logical reason. As a fan base I think our patience has been worn down a bit.

The problem with that pairing is with the board and not the manager. I guess hes kind of forced to play it until we get someone in so hes having to 'make it work' even though it wont.

 

Hamza is worse than both of them and Winks aint interested. Winks should be in ahead of Skipp, but if hes made it clear he wants out before the window shuts the gaffer may see more benefit in playing these two to form a pairing. 

 

For me, I cant stand it.. but its the clubs fault rather than Marti

 

I just hope we can outscore these because that defence concedes goal after goal.. simple long ball in behind and we're in a mess. Can't see us doing that though. 4-1 charlton

Time to watch some fairly mediocre championship midfielders with actual desire and willing run rings round our boys. 

Shame, as the attack is exciting and I don't think the defence is awful; but the midfield will be bypassed and bring the rest of the team down with them.

I'm happy to see Monga and Page starting but I also think the lineup (and squad) as a whole is miserable. Somehow, I am able to hold these opinions at the same time - what a marvel
