Was looking to make the trip potentially at Easter

Home to Bologna. But as previously mentioned 2 issues I forsee.

1. Fixture moves

2. Vardy may be injured or on the bench

I was thinking fly to Milan try and see a few sights maybe try San Siro tour and take train to Cremona. Train relatively inexpensive.

Interestingly my lad has ordered a Vardy Cremonese shirt. They sold out so quickly re stock won't arrive until Mid to late Oct ( That's home shirt)

Third shirt which is black not in stock until end of December.

Maybe the veteran marquee signing has made them a few quid.

Vardy historically seems to be injured or suspended over the festive period so, prudent to write off mid December through to mid January. I'm hoping the Lecce home game on 7/8 December is a game he'll run riot in.

As I have a mate over there, I'm booked in for Roma away at the end of February 🐐🏆🦊

No idea what availability of tickets for home games will be but away games could be a viable option. Italian sides don't travel particularly well.

Remember going to Newcastle on New Years Day when Hamza scored and he wasn’t in the squad at all, I think the club gave him Christmas off sometimes!!

Difficulty with a lot of away ends is you have to be a member or a resident of Cremona/region. Cremonese have had this placed on their trip to Verona

Was near to Cremona last week so we stopped by the club and explained who we are. Very friendly response was told that if you are Leicester visiting call them and they will look to sort you out. I think they are thinking ones and twos a big group might be challenging. We are going late November to coincide with Lake ~Garda Christmas Markets.

I'd go one better and get a game in, there'll always be one of them at home and it's quite easy to get tickets.

Heading over for a Calcio weekend at the start of October. Timed nicely with Cremonese away at Inter to see Vardy at San Siro.

Tickets have gone on sale for the away end today, purchased for a grand total of £8.50!

Incredible how prices fluctuate between countries and how our clubs charge a fortune for tickets !!

Supply and demand.  Try charging a fortune in Italy and see how many turn up.

Managed to secure 2 tickets for Cremonese v Parma this Sunday.

We've been in Bergamo since Tuesday (highly recommended).

Cremonese is about a 2 hours away via train. Forecast is 30°, can't wait.

I really hope he doesn’t spend the whole season with injuries

Saw a quote from their manager saying they’d taken a bit of a risk with his training schedule and would have to look at how they do it moving forward.

Vardy probably called the shots on what he needs/wants for a few years here and it has worked for him but not so easy to do with a a new club, manager and language to navigate.

Yep, Kasper did an interview where he said the same when he joined Nice.

Training? Training? I thought they just stick him in that cyro-chamber  thingymajig with a crate of Red Bull and say “we’ll be back to let you out on Saturday morning” :dunno:

Maybe his new home doesn’t have one (yet) and that’s the issue?
