Well despite their scatter gun approach to recruitment when they first went up they have actually assembled a pretty impressive squad.

I can’t see them struggling even with a new manager for a while and they should finish mid-table.

The top man is obviously a nutter but, frustratingly, they’re in a whole better position since he joined the club. They’re as far ahead of us now as we were from them when he first took over

Forest fans have been blinded by the reality of what's actually going on in the Club. The club has enjoyed recent success in spite of Marinakis, not because of him. It's due to people like Cooper and Nuno. Giving him more and more control of the playing side is only going to make things worse.
Aside from Marinakis questionable conduct, dealings, and other "interests", good owners need to allow managers to look after the football side.

shame it didn't happen in the summer. I'd have taken Nuno in a heartbeat here.

I would imagine that he might have had better offers than a Championship club needing a fire sale of all their high earners :)

I like Ange and his character, but aside from the trophy, he was woeful at Tottenham and I cannot see him lasting that long. Yes he may be mates with Marinakis, but I don't get the impression he's a walkover and like to be his own man, so can't see him being mates for long.

They couldn't really have been any more lucky to stay up the first two seasons. But do that and you are given the chance to build something given the awful quality of the teams that come up.

It will be interesting to see how much PSR affects them given they didn't get Champions League and have no one of pure profit to sell. It's been a massive risk but at least they've given it a go. You can't help but feel like we'd have been better taking the points deduction and spending over what we have done.

Ange and the Greek mafia boss. What could possibly go wrong.

I'd actually take Leeds syating up at the expense of F****t and then watch them totally implode.

Detestful little club.

That's an interestful take.

Well it was because of his money and the work of those beneath him. Same could be said for us putting so much credit on our owners when Pearson and his team did all the work.

It really is annoying!

They had all the luck with them in the play-offs when they first went up. They were further helped to stay up with established sides (like us) taking a nose dive.

I actually don’t want PSR to catch them as I think it’s insiduous and unfairly discriminates against all clubs outside the elite. If their owner initiates their implosion, however, I’ll be on the front row with my popcorn

Seems a bit mad to go from a very organised counter attacking coach based on a solid defence to one who loves a high line and attacking football.

Ange doesn’t look like a guy who will change his style and I’m not sure Forest have the players to play it as effectively.

I hope they get relegated and we sell Nottingham the city to Russia.

Otherwise nothing but good wishes

Agree for everyone else, but it's Forest.

That owner is absolutely bonkers, can definitely see someone getting killed during his reign

it’s like watching David Brent in charge of a football club…

Crazy decision, however I still find it a little crazy that we sacked Ranieri despite not being in the bottom 3 but persisted with deluded Brendan and then let Cooper and RVN into the dugout, all while Rudkin keeps a job. Our owner is almost as mad as the one at Forest.

One was a footballing decision while the others were due to our hands being financially tied because of the failings of Rudkin.

Pretty obvious that this was the case with what came out with our psr situation after the fact

Agreed. We don’t have much to laugh about in relation to them anymore unfortunately.

They’re in European football and are actually kicking on with their expansion.

I wonder if their fans looked at us with the same envy when they were in the Championship and we were in the Champions League?
