Thought this was on tv today? Yet it's showing Charlton vs Millwall?

there should be streams available as it’s being shown live on the American paramount+ app..

Sensible by Marti. We’ve been picking up a bit of momentum and team spirit recently, it wouldn’t be right to throw all the new signings in at the same time…  by the end of the month I think our team will look a bit different,

Right, exactly. He seems big on team spirit, and building something. Should naturally lean into everyone needing to earn their spot—nobody just gets in the starting 11 "just because".

I get the calls for Ricardo over Hamza for example, but so far, Hamza has earned his spot.

So basically a stream near enough then, gonna be awful. Thank you though!

The cup game was on + and it seemed like better coverage then when we were last down here, so hopefully it's just without the studio discussion.

Hopefully it's good quality then! Hoping the new signings who are on the bench get at least 20 minutes each.

Interesting to see the changing reaction to a Skipp - Soumare partnership, after 1 half decent game together.

I still don't believe that pairing is the way to go in midfield. Luckily, the standard in the Championship is poor and it may work again today.

Long-term, I think it will cause us similar issues that we have already experienced, and could likely cost us winning games.

Ayew to get the full 90 INCOMING

Oh that's definite anyway.

I've resigned myself to him playing somewhere. Genuinely think if Carranza had been considered ready to start, Ayew would have been on the wing or something. Marti seems to love him.

I can kinda live with him starting instead of Mavididi on current form I suppose.

But he's one of the worst 9s we've ever, ever had.

It’s clearly not the long-term plan. James will occupy one of those slots after he’s had the chance to actually train with the team.

I think Hamza has been pretty uninspiring, but less error prone.  To get the best out of Fatawu we need Ricardo, not sure we will though.  Hamza is playing out of position though so fair enough.  He could do with helping Fatawu and trying to drive forward. Him and Okoli are pretty shaky passing around and out from the back. Hamza needs more movement in midfield rather than them passing back instantly.

Okoli seems to stutter and takes too long with the ball. He needs to get more confidence so pass first time because he puts himself and Hanza under pressure they don’t need to create.

I don’t think it’s entirely “clear”, but hopefully that is the case.

We already have a better player than S & S in Winks, but it looks like his redemption has some way to go.

I think "uninspiring" is a tad harsh, but agree with the rest. In the past few games, we've had to dig in and defensively Hamza has done pretty well, hence earning his spot. I think as we progress (and hopefully develop/improve) through the season, Ricardo will be a shoe in if he's fit, because he helps unleash Fatawu as you describe. But we're not there yet. We're building slowly. I think once we get into our rhythm and dominate games, Ricardo will come in more, shine, and overtake Hamza. But for now, Hamza has done enough to keep his place.

Agree on passing on that right hand side though—really hope Hamza and Okoli are both working on that in training.

You joke but there's no number 10 on the bench and Ramsey will definitely not play more than 60-70 minutes.

Guarantee Ayew drops into the number 10 role when Carranza comes on.

I'm not joking, he always gets 90 lol

Ricardo only managed to have a sustained long period in the team because he fitted into Enzo tactics which dramatically cut the distance he was running per game. Does Marti play with inverted full backs?

No Nelson in squad, marti don’t rate him does he?

Quicker than Vestergaard, but not strong enough yet.

Could you argue that bench is stronger than benches we had 2 season ago?

The bench is stronger, but I’m struggling to think of a single player in the starting eleven who is better than what we had 2 years ago

Don’t waste your breath, get hounded out of this place for suggesting Ricardo can’t play regularly at full back/wing back anymore even though it’s extremely obvious

Maybe unfair yes.  In preseason he was driving forward and helping the attacks. When Ricardo comes on it adds so much energy to the team and he has been helping Silko Thomas attack.
