He can’t get the wingers involved at all, it’s too slow in the build up and let them get 10 men back every time

no overlapping from the full backs and expecting the wingers to absolutely skin there man every time to get anything

This. Under enzo we had the under lapping runs from KDH and Wilf that contributed to many of our goals.

Under Marti the winger is solely responsible for creating big chances

Shambles of a performance. Going forward it's too predictable and when we did quick passing, we got a goal.

Dakas first touch was atrocious the first half.

We are our worst nightmare, that goal should never have happened, but that is poor decision making and brain farts!

We need a left back...good night

Probably an unpopular opinion as well but Fatawu has been absolutely honking for a few games now…. So predictable

Too reliant on him. Needs other players to chip in or at least make runs

My son usually goes home games I couldn't take him tonight cuz I was working at the game

He didn't even watch it on sky

He said he didn't wanna die of boredom . The football is so stale stale and thr passing back 🙄 so needless

This was Wrexham for gods sake

Subs were bad but Jesus let’s take some accountability… keeping the ball working options 1-0 up with 30 left like anyone in the league and our fan base can not crawl out for five minutes and stop the relentless criticism… then a panicked mistake and two points gone. We create such a tense, shite atmosphere, when it is so aggressively unnecessary. Abuse for us keeping the ball(despite the Enzo year and the lessons learnt from the abuse he got at the start) and then whinging when Monga tries to beat a man, or someone tries to play a risky pass, make your minds up. Team fits the fan base, I’d take a sandpaper wank over a beer with approx 15k of the 32k in the stadium

I remember when watching Leicester used to be fun. Precisely, between 1992 and 2021.

There were some positives in tonight's performance, but I fear I'm falling out of love with the sport.

Just feels so, so flat. And it has for about 5 years now.

Exactly this, I sat there tonight wishing I was somewhere else. One goal apiece and I don’t remember either keep having to make a save.

I’m going the Tigers V Bath game, I honestly can’t see myself hanging around for three hours afterwards for the Portsmouth game.

In the first half Daka had a similar ball coming across him to the one that they scored from and he couldn’t get it anywhere near the goal. I just can’t see him scoring goals. Ayew is not a striker and the signs do not look good for the new striker. Just can’t see where the goals will come from particularly with the slow build up letting teams get into position.

Totally agree, for me maybe from the Brendan relegation season but yes.

James is not an incumbent but he put most of the rest to shame.

The defence is an embarrassment

Stolarcyk is s#it scared of distributing quickly, but as nobody shows for him either we have no dynamism.

The back 4 primarily can’t actually play football and yet hog the ball passing slowly from side to side, and most make crucial defensive howlers.

Harry tried today, but Bobby started really well & then just vanished, he sat on top of the centre half, didn’t look for space or move off the ball at all, lazy.

What has happened to Stephy he was a star 2 years ago, just vanished.

Abdul’s end product aside from 1 goal has been poor this season, they are working him out.  Ayew is a waste for us, slow, greedy & no end product.  Daka is just a mess sadly with great effort but no quality.

On Radio Leicester they said, 4 draws is relegation form, it won’t be BUT for gods sake just attack now every week and see if you can score more than the opposition, this current form and play is embarrassing and excruciating.

They are stealing a living from all of us, either through, stupidity, lack of quality, disengagement or all of these.

I am totally disengaged but angry & feel let down.

Just watched the highlights as I couldn't watch the game.

Clearly shows Skipp not tracking broadhead and keeping him close, reacts far too late. He had plenty of time to sort it out, so annoying because it's an avoidable situation.

I genuinely think Soumare is better, what an absolute waste of money

Bin the plastic.

That's bullshit because talking to fans in the stadium they pretty much feel the same way ..

The football is absolutely honking its like having teeth pulled with no pain relief

I would see them toe punt every ball up front than that slow tippy tappy rubbish we try to play at the back.Almost never gets us anywhere, much higher tempo or just smash it up front

At what level of football would the defending by Vestergaard prior to the goal be considered acceptable?

I watch National League North when I'm not at LCFC games, and it would still be completely unacceptable - even part timers know to stand up and see that out for a corner / goal kick.

Just want us to sack off this 433/343 experiment that Enzo started. We're not good enough to play it, and without any decent players in the AMC and ST positions it's so easy to double up on Monga/Mavididi and Fatawu to nullify the threat.

I like Hamza but he doesn't offer enough as the inverted FB, and playing Faes and Vestergaard because they are perceived to be good with the ball at their feet, is simply not good enough. What happened to playing defenders that first and foremost know how to defend?

If we've not got a decent striker who can play the lone striker role, why not switch to a formation where we play with two?

I'm so frustrated, both the opposing players and mangers are complete and utter sh*te in this league yet we line up every week as if readying for a match against a prime Pep side.

We obviously need to give Marti time, but he needs to come up with more than what we've seen during the past couple of games. We simply cannot be dropping points against the likes of Oxford, and Wrexham if we want any chance of promotion. Big game now at the weekend.

I used to be a passionate die hard supporter… home and away, thought of little else but football & LCFC.

My wife came into the room with 5 minutes to go tonight to check I was OK - Not a single shout at the TV. Even worse I’d played chess on my phone for most of the second half.

I’m becoming apathetic … the almost inevitable end to any relationship. Very sad.

Me too. In fact, I rarely get excited even when we score. I'm never even on the edge of my seat anymore when we attack. (can you even call our forward moves an attack?)

The title win, FA Cup, Europe was, of course, magnificent and we all knew it wouldn't last. It would be nice however, to still have 2 or 3 players who may make you think, they just might have got a game during those glorious years they are that good. But there isn't, that's how far we've fallen.

If im honest I find all football boring these days

Please someone tell me it isn't just me

I was going to say, it's not just an us problem. I don't get that excited watching many other teams, football is boring, ran by paperwork and financial decisions rather than actual games.

It's dull and we are part of that.

Marti didn’t cover himself in glory tonight but look at the dross he has to work with…this board surprised the footballing world when they decided not only to sign Vestergaard after we put 9 past his Southampton side but give him a new 3 year deal on top of that, it just sums up the decision making at this club over the last few years. He didn’t play tonight but it was one of the few games we haven’t seen Soumare, who has been absolutely useless for 4 years. The recruitment has been a complete joke and nobody is held accountable.

I was actually pretty happy with how we set up today. Only playing Winks in the pivot with Bobby and James pushed further forward was the correct tactic against an inferior opposition. I thought that Winks, and James in particular, both played well.

The problem that we have is that we do not look to transition the ball forward with any urgency. Winks is a good playmaker, but we seem to be afraid for anyone else to pass the ball forward. We do not play out from the back; we play around with the ball in inconsequential areas of the pitch. Our style of play is both boring and ineffective.

When we went a goal up, I wanted to see us go all out fir the second goal to kill the game off. Instead Martí made defensive substitutions and we were punished. The players have to carry some of the blame, but, for me, the system and style of play are the bigger issues. I have never felt more apathetic or disconnected from the club.

In a bizarre way, I wish that our squad/team was weaker so that we didn't consider playing this slow-tempo, possession-based crap was an option.
