The reaction to the injustice of a penalty which never was, was so pleasing. We showed grit determination and some quality finishes.

There were some great bits of play, but also some poor control of the ball too. Very very happy with where we’re at with this team.

A very good result leading into the International break.

If we had a decent striker we’d probably be quite comfortably threatening the automatic promotion places this season. We haven’t got one, however, so we have to think how we get the best out of the team without.

With Daka at least he pulls the opposition out of shape to allow others to get into goal scoring positions. If our midfielders and wingers can score goals it won’t matter so much that our striker options are so limited.

There were times today and against Wrexham that we finally look a decent team at this level. How MF solves the striker conundrum will be the key to keeping us competitive.

Could do with dipping into the loan market again in January. Maybe some PL talent needing minutes.

Jordan James is possibly our best player - easily our best midfielder at least.

Still think there's a hell of a lot to fix but that game was a bit of a signal of how bad this league is to me. Swansea were total beige, absolutely nothing team and we've ended up winning away there fairly comfortably in the end. Probably the game that most convinces me we'd get in the top six.

Who stops us from top two on the basis we will only improve?

Seemed to be following a similar pattern.

Lots of possession, very little goal threat and very few shots on target.

Expected brain fart in defence.

The difference today was individual brilliance.

Scored 3 goals and hit the woodwork 3 times.

That is still Winks in terms of their importance, but different roles.

James is better than Winks. More effective player.

It was but he shouldnt of been diving in, giving him that decision anyway

Completely.

Needs putting on his grave stone, "Here lies Wout Faes, finally gone to ground at the appropriate moment"

Much, much, much better. Looked composed never really lost control of the game and limited them to barely no chances at all.

And we finally seemed to go through the gears when we needed to, to kill the game off.

If we play like that every week, we will be there. It’s just goals, we need to be scoring more goals.

But today was a huge step in the right direction.

Yes.

A real shame.

Kind of missing the point really. Of course it doesn’t matter how we score and the post wasn’t intended to be negative.

It was just that the playbook was in danger of unfolding exactly as it has done in the last few games up to that point. We never looked back once we were 2-1 up and were in total control.

I just think I’d like us to churn out a routine win with some very routine goals, rather than relying on a moment of brilliance. But maybe today isn’t the day to worry about that and we move on to the next game

Nothing wrong with that challenge at all. If he doesn't make the challenge there is a chance the Swansea player gets there to get the cross in. Just because it's Faes everyone will jump on him.

No issue with the slide, but not so close to the man would have been advisable.

For god sake, this is rubbish. We looked far better today. Overall it was a much more accomplished performance. And we went through the gears when we needed to, to finish the game off.

Today was much more encouraging, just enjoy the win for what it is…..

Ipswich stop nobody. Massively overrated.

I don't even think they're particularly good myself. I'm still way off convinced by us though. If I had a gun to my head, yes I'd still put them above us.
