I did a bit of research and found this:

I do. Your opinion is as valid as anybody else’s. Especially when I agree with it

That was a joke to someone stating that nobody gives a toss about his opinion. All opinions are valid.

The laughing face was a detail you may have overlooked

I actually saw us win live for the first time since (checks notes)... West Ham at home in Ruud's first game.

On the penalty, there is absolutely no reason why Faes is diving in. The Swansea player is running out of room. He’s got to play a 1 in 100 cross from that position. Absolutely idiotic give the referee any chance to give a penalty

If Ben Nelson made that challenge everyone would be saying how hard done by he was. Faes and Vestergaard are in a position where they can't change opinions, and most of the time I'd agree. But nothing wrong with the tackle and its a horrible decision.

It's a bad decision whoever attempts that tackle, a defender should always stay on their feet where possible.

There’s a deep concern with me that we have a pattern very similar to t minus 1 season Rodgers exit here. We are hideously low on xG. Every team is out scoring us on that (yeah today has a big skewing) but we are incredibly reliant on individuals talent

The only thing I’d say to counteract that. That was Rodgers 3rd (?) season and the team should have been far more organised and prepared to not be so reliant on individual talent. It wasn’t and actually stale. In Marti’s favour, the team is improving - a long way from being there but that figure (and I’m not one for stats) has got to be improving - in parts, it is on the eye - though not truly flowing.

Nothing wrong with that challenge at all. If he doesn't make the challenge there is a chance the Swansea player gets there to get the cross in. Just because it's Faes everyone will jump on him.

They don't even appeal for it.

Of course there is something wrong with that challenge.

It’s not like he was within the 6-yard box. A sensible defender uses their body to ease him out of play. At absolute worse he scuffs a cross into the box and it’s cleared / gathered by Jakub. More than likely he wouldn’t have got there and sliced the ball out of play whilst being off balance.

Its brain dead and unnecessary. He’s gone for glory and it’s backfired.

You’re right, you didn’t! But he can’t me making reasonable decisions. You’ve got to be certain.

Spot on. If he can’t see for certain then he shouldn’t give a penalty. Also, if he just looked at the Swansea players reaction it would give him a clue! The guy appeals for a corner.

It was a reactionary decision and very poor.

Didnt back until half nine tonight but well

worth the trip.

We are so much better than the majority of teams in this league and lets face it we’re miles off where we need to be to get to and stay in the Prem.

Not the best performance, but a good result on the road. Loved the togetherness from the team.

The day was sadly overshadowed as the Swansea Police and stewards were shocking. We got spat on, punches thrown at us, helicopter signs etc. all whilst they stood back and did nothing. I tried to report to the Police and got told that it was to be expected, was 50/50 and asked what do we expect with our fans being ‘gobshites’.

That was an enjoyable watch. No complaints at all with the pen, why is Faes launching in there? And the happy clappers have designated ‘VAR is killing modern football mate’ so I can’t understand the problem with the ref giving that. Goals very well taken

Why feel the need to mention “Happy Clappers” in the post? Seems totally irrelevant. Where is the connection?

Cov are that 'better' side in this league right now. Personally didn't have an issue with playing out the back today. We are all aware of the risks in doing it these days, but i personally didnt get troubled by it today.

Why are you so triggered by people using the phrase "happy clappers"? It's hardly a new phenomenon, it's be used for decades.
