But on the same page, if Faes doesn’t make that action their winger runs into the box and gets pelted for that. The bloke can’t win sometimes.

He doesn't need to dive in, if he stands his ground he probably blocks any run or attempted cross anyway. It's really bad by the ref, but it's still naive defending

I think regarding the Faes incident, it’s more a comment on what the game itself has become, that you should have been to be so conscious of what the referee might do in any given situation.

When Abdul did his cheeky attempt and nearly caught the keeper out (stupid crossbar) I cannot decide if I would rather he scored, or Daka managed to nod in the rebound!

Daka, would have been a great moment for him and might have kick started a run.

Daka really offers more to the team. Pressing, occupying defenders, not dropping deep into the 10s space, creates space for the 8’s to run into.

I’m not saying he played well at all but he’s getting a lot of stick firstly for giving the penalty away and when people are realising it’s a shit decision, it’s then “well don’t give the ref the decision to make”.

Someone is after Anthony's job....

My thoughts too

Yeah, apart form the clown(s) at the back, a striker who is contributing goals is what is missing. Midfield seems to be clicking now James and Winks are in there. Left back  concern. I have always liked Thomas but it’s more his style isn’t suited.

Daka being able to add would be huge.

My summary, as if anyone gives a toss. Some points raised by others too…

- Flowers for Janik, I thought he was brilliant in many facets regardless of the goal

- 2 Pieces of individual brilliance to admire

- Jordan James great engine and glad to see he can finish properly after Tuesday, looked like a pass back :P

-  Kinda like BDC in hole (hmm)

- Not his biggest fan but though Daka added value today

- I love Marti - got the band back together again

Happy days, 3rd and this league is absolutely here for the taking. Imagine, just imagine, if/when we fully click. Even with out a solid striker we boss. Also give caranza a little time to sharpen up, looks half a player in there, maybe!

I do. Your opinion is as valid as anybody else’s. Especially when I agree with it :D

Our second goal was Fatawu at Charlton again. Our first goal was Fatawu at Charlton but right footed.

Haha that makes sense. As long as him and James stay fit were top 6.

But that doesn’t make it right that he’s got the decision wrong though?

didn't say it did? said he's been put in a position where it looks like a reasonable decision to make, because that clown dives in unnecessarily

A really good a win and 3 points on the board and only 3 points behind top . Still only early in the season but it’s good to be up there still even if the league is rank this year we didn’t have the best pre season or maybe brought  in what we would have liked in the transfer window but I do think we will be up there this season . Shame it’s the international break again

You’re right, you didn’t! But he can’t me making reasonable decisions. You’ve got to be certain.

A win is  a win and we fecking needed that.

Times like this you need another gif from our favourite East Ender @Phil Mitchell

Over to you Phil...

Took long enough. Draws are shit because it’s either agony or ecstasy in Phil’s world, rather a loss for the gif’s sake. Phil

That was evident today when he left Skipp, Okoli and Ayew on the bench who are all players we signed last season. Even BDCR is not likely to be a game changer.

We’ve had to wheel and deal with loanees and MC has had to work with them and quite a few established failures. I think he’s doing a decent job so far

Signed to play in The Premier League but not good enough to make our championship side.  Ouch.

Change that makes a bad situation even worse.   A bit like a certain leader of a certain country I could mention.   😂

Would LOVE for Daka to get a goal..it would really boost his confidence. He has been a pacy nuisance so would love for him to get that goal

Maybe he needs a Vardy to his Okazaki? :P

I agree with Faes, he's been clumsy, Vestergaard is pretty important to how we play. I'd be all for Nelson alongside Vestergaard

I'd also agree to a degree but he makes at least one major error a game.

He does, even today he made a short pass which nearly put us in trouble, but removing Jannik also reduces our playmaking efforts, unlike Faes.

I think our strongest team at the moment would be

Stola

Ricardo Okoli Vestergaard Faes

Winks

James Ramsey

Fatawu Daka Monga

Id have Faes in that Callum Doyle roll he can step in to midfield to pass and it keeps the ***** away from the box.

theres a shout for Carranza in the hole linking play and leave Daka to be a pest.

work rate was high today.

Don't we just love Fatawu. Training video of him leaping for joy when his 'team' scored. Totally brilliant attempt from nearly half way, as well as the compulsory screamer. How can we hide him from Rudkin selling him?

Can't complain at all.

Not sure why some people are moaning. We've won away, scored 2 quality goals and defended well apart from one mistake.

Happy with that, enjoy your Saturday people!
