I’d much rather watch us with Daka up front running around for 90 minutes than Ayew. Not saying he’s great, gonna score 20 or anything but we look better.

Been a fair supporter of Ayew, but quite happy to admit I was wrong, Daka is just so much more impactfull

James is better than Winks. More effective player.

I like the two together and they both have different attributes. Winks and James are very good for this division. If we had a better no.10 and no.9 then we’d probably walk it.

Early days, but we will see how Ramsey steps up as he could make a difference. I’ve also not totally written off Carranza yet, although not particularly hopeful

you see the angle the ref has, ref has no way of seeing the flick onto the striker, so it looks like Faes sliding in and taking the striker out after its knocked past him. You can clearly see why the ref gave it, and it's stupid defending to put yourself in that situation. The balls going out of play ffs.

It was a good tackle and a goal kick, the referee has had a shocker why are people blaming Faes?

They are not comparable, so why compare, it’s not a zero sum game, strange comparison.

The point was about our best midfielder. James for me I barely see a weakness. He's great, best signing in a couple of years for me.

I’m a bastard to anyone so to be fair I’ve never liked him lol he’s just too slow and clunky

I actually agree, Daka he is a nuisance, and if that gets Fatawu, James and Monga more space then great

That’s the key. We all know his limitations but, without a top quality striker, we’re going to need somebody who brings others into the game. Daka does that becomes he takes defenders away. Ayew is just very easy to mark

Didn't see the game. 4 big chances to 2. Have we smashed in some world's again? Haha

At this point ill take it, but looking at the stats it doesnt feel like a massive deviation from recent form

Maybe we will Man U our way to the ray offs

I don't particularly rate us but to be honest you do look at the others and it's woeful isn't it. Preston, Stoke and QPR in the top 6 at the second international break by which time the table is starting to take a bit of shape. I don't think we're very good but increasingly obvious we probably won't have to be. I mean look how bad Southampton, Birmingham and Sheffield United all look.

Our second goal was Fatawu at Charlton again. Our first goal was Fatawu at Charlton but right footed.

Most exciting, sure.

Better - still not entirely convinced, but an improvement and going into the break with a win rather than off the back of five winless could be big.

For all that people hate Daka, and I accept he has some pretty serious flaws, I'm not sure anyone can really dispute that we look a better attacking unit with him up front than Ayew. James looks like a fantastic acquisition, Ramsey I thought was pretty lively when he came on, unfortunately the less said about Carranza the better so far.

A huge win, and they made me eat my words as usual. Good to see us react right to another dodgy decision against us.  We wanna be achieving 2pts per game and this puts us in touching distance of that.

I'm getting fed up of this crap ref business though,  seems like every challenge we make is a yellow or red card or penalty! I guess we cant expect anything other than this as revenge from our financial misgivings, it isn't sport though. Maybe cheating? Who knows.

Good win that. Improved as the game went on and attacking play got better as we moved on.

More chances and strikers scoring and HMS piss the league could be sailing the high seas again.

Does feel we are playing against 12 every week to be fair.

Nothing wrong with that challenge at all. If he doesn't make the challenge there is a chance the Swansea player gets there to get the cross in. Just because it's Faes everyone will jump on him.

They don't even appeal for it.

I didn’t think it was a foul. You must see at least ten tackles like that every game.

But that doesn’t make it right that he’s got the decision wrong though?

Two more wonder goals, individual brilliance out of nowhere for our lead, as we were poor to be 2-1 ahead, but then finally Swansea caved and from that point forward we seemed comfortable.

Absolutely spot on. Their player appeals for a corner lol which says it all.
