I don't think many strikers would look like a goal threat in this set up. 

yea, the setup doesn't exactly help strikers but you'd want as a minimum even a false 9 to be getting a shot or two away

Don’t disagree, I like that he stays high unlike Ayew, but I don’t think he offers as much in general play as Daka does. None of the three look dangerous to me. I wouldn’t be against giving him a run to see if he can adapt but on evidence so far I’d take Daka’s pressing and movement, most of our good play under Marti has been with him on the pitch.

So I feel like Carranza has the best possible team we have around  him to give him the platform he needs to make an impression. So far, I don’t think he’s taking his opportunity well.
