Or the actual hot day on the opening day against Brentford where he didn’t make any subs! Then again, reptiles blood does run differently to ours which might explain him not getting hot and cold right!

Didn’t he eventually sub off KDH and replace with Daka?
Meanwhile their manager brought on 5 fresh subs.

Please, it's been a bad enough day already.

If this ever happened and that tw@t became our manager I would be taking a break from the club until the joyous day he was sacked. RM is not a football manager, he is a Brendan Rodgers Clone and not the answer we need.

You are 100% right. And I agree 100%

Though he is probably still better than marti, even if only slightly.

Why has he not gone yet? No rumours, no noise. Just so pathetic.

Because Top doesn't care. He has to make the final decision and he's probably put his phone down not disturb .

The club is falling apart and it's come from him not caring anymore.

Or maybe it's because club can't afford to pay out another Compensation payment.

Maybe looking at how can bring some money in first by selling some of the big earners early in window to pay off Marti and fund a few new signings for replacement.

That could be true, and I agree. I can't see him going.

But with the lack of communication, the lack of movement or even an update on appointments that was promised, the fact he's been distracted by polo and he's supposed to be our CEO isn't a good look.

He's not competent enough to run a club and be involved in a major business. I feel that we've been forgotten and no one is taking charge at the club. Ironically we don't have anyone at the Top and we are Rudderless. The cracks have been there for ages, even years, and now the club is falling apart and crumbling in every direction.

Sad times.

Took off our fittest player (and the only sub made), then said that our squad isn’t fit enough which is why we drew the game

I had a thought last night about whether the behind the scene issues Marti is referring to  could be concerns about finances and players not being paid? It would explain a lack of effort in some of the players not being arsed, the turgid performances and also the issue with moving staffs pay date and the food voucher debacle…

It did cross my mind too, I also don’t believe we have filed our accounts by the December 31st deadline as yet unless it’s a timing issue with bank holidays etc so could it be that the club and players know that an additional points deduction and:

/or transfer embargo will be applied in the very near future on top of the already pending deduction and its fair to say the morale of the club and any positive momentum has tanked.

Aside from the fact lack of effort and turgid performances have been happening all season.

This bloke is a terrible manager.

IF players have not been paid/delayed payments etc too and is part of the reason for inconsistent performances - I’d be surprised to see how the KP fans react to this one

Having listened to the interview I thought it was more of a culture thing but I may be wrong. Seemed to be a deflection away from him, look it’s not my fault.

Surely with the level of individual ability we have in the squad you'd attempt to work out a way which keeps us defensively solid. With that as a foundation these moments of individual brilliance would be more likely to be worth points rather than consolation goals. A basic level of competence would have us in and around the playoffs.

We don't really have much individual ability

The fans don't want him, the players don't respect him. Let's face it, he was about 8th choice - the club don't even want him.

It's another completely avoidable shit show spearheaded by dumb & dumber. If we get a points deduction then we need to double down and sack him, bringing in someone with a proven record of stabilising clubs.

We will get relegated with a decent points deductions and if we continue to not keep clean sheets. He's got to go.

Simply not up to the task of sorting this lot out. What manager would go on to pitch after the game and hug Fatawu, who had an appalling game. No doubt did it to others as well? Either way, after that excuse for a performance he should have been in the Dressing Room waiting for that shower to return, ready to face both barrels.

You probably wouldn’t…

Go and get a steady hand with a history of steady recruitment, blooding youth and slow building a club.

Combine that with a new Technical director.

Drain the the squad of all the out of contract players, go back to a model of developing talent and selling at a high price.

Nelson, James and Fatawu will be PL players in the next 12-18 months for a start.
