I see no reason as to why he’s still here.

Unless they don’t to put an interim manager in and they are sorting that first.

Lots of people called out that this wouldn’t work.

It’s not like the RVN one, where he had some pedigree. Cifuentes was a boring, non descriptive Championship Manager.

When you consider his win % is higher here than an QPR as well, what on earth were we thinking? This is truly dreadful.

I cannot see Rudkin on this list?

Club will leave it too late like they did with the Brenda sacking and only Hiring Dean Smith with 7-8 games to go.

Came one here to post pretty much this.

Yet again no lessons have been learnt from previous failures.

For me main problem is Top is absolutely clueless about football, the fans, history of the club before KP arrived ... and as a consequence he is guided by Rudkin and Co..... Top needs to get some straight talking football people in his ear

I wonder if the interim manager point could be valid, that would mean they would be waiting for new structure to appoint properly. Or they aren’t going to sack him, which is what I suspect.

No patterns really

They don’t like asking people at the beginning of the month. Brendan is the only one sacked in the first half of the month

Only Clauds have been sacked in the Winter and only in late Feb

Out of Tops 6 managers, 3 have left at season end and two Brendan & Rudd outstayed their welcome like Marti has

There will be no action until after the points deduction and until it is too late

A manager that understands what it means to manage this club.

A manager that can withstand the presure of managing us.

A manager that knows what its like to win trophies.

A manager that can handle player egos.

I can go on, but it was very evident that Marti did not have what it takes.

The point was, you could get someone on the way up who has those traits who you could get from QPR. Marti is shit because of himself, not where he came from.

And the mention of winning trophies just makes it sound like you expect us to win the PL/FA cup on a regular basis which plays into the hands of those who push the narrative that though of us who are anti KP (which you and I are on the same page about) are entitled and expect these trophies on a regular basis.

I agree the other points, managing egos, managing pressure etc are important qualities. Some of our best managers like Pearson and O’Neil were up and coming though and didn’t really have much in management at that point. But those traits were in their characters and from their playing careers.

My point being, if someone has the right character traits, it doesn’t really matter which club they come from. Marti clearly doesn’t have the right traits to manage at this level.

He can get to **** blaming the fans, there’s literally nothing to get excited about watching this shite. The footballing side is down to him and his tactics, whatever the hell he says to them at half-time, team selection and in-game management, if you can’t get that right then expect a bad atmosphere. Cheeky fecker!

Here's the plan ..... sack him on Monday.... get someone in after the transfer window has closed ... Great tactics

It’s already too late for a new manager to do any good business.

It's not just the results, the football is low quality and boring to watch. 90 minutes of watching not much happening at all apart from our periodic mistakes and overall negative approach

I could sit at home, randomly pick anything to watch and be more entertained

That's optimistic - any kind business is unlikely. Probably end up with a Ryan Bennett type signing at best.

The club has no intention of doing any incoming business, either with the current manager or his replacement.

It's more damaging keeping him on.

If you can't sack him. At least put him on gardening leave. He has been there before.

Let's him grow something else. Because he definitely can't plant a footballing seed.

He can take the Spanish football ideology with him too.

Hate his football. Bring back the 90s aggressive, fast flowing energy.

A serious multi-million pound football club should have a permanent short list of potential managers to approach in case their current manager is sacked or poached.

The sames goes for players. If a player is sold or suffers a serious injury, the club should already have a replacement identified.

Does LCFC operate like that?

We don’t know that they don’t.

I concede that there’s scant evidence that they do, but literally all well run professional clubs, including in the EFL, do.

Tempted to put myself forward for the job.

I'm 2nd with us on Football Manager. Ayew has 15 in 22. Soumare and Winks have been that good for me that I've rewarded them with new deals. Got Brownhill on a free. Daka got a hat trick against Sheffield United. Aluko, Evans, Page and Monga have all become embedded in the first team squad.

Give it me till the end of the season

He's a Spanish Steve Cooper.

No real recognisable patterns of play.

Wanted to give him time but these last 3 games in particular have been turgid.

No clear effort on goal for 80 mins at home to an effectively a league team is dreadful.

Get rid.

A simple observation from the last 50 years ...

After a Frank McLintock/Brian Hamilton/David Pleat/Peter Taylor/Ian Holloway/Paulo Sousa/Brendan Rodgers has messed things up,
you need a Jock Wallace/Brian Little/Martin O'Neill/Nigel Pearson to sort out the mess.

Who's going to sort the mess out this time?

That in itself is ridiculous given that we’ve actually shipped players out. King Power need to sell up as soon as possible.
