Pearon doesn't get on with Rudkin I don't think. Pearson with King and another experienced head would get the backing of most. Also could trust him to him advise and sort other issues in the club. 1

If the club had any sense (they don't) they would be all over this, with a view to moving him into the technical director/DOF role at the end of the season. 5

Like the poster said, in the summer would have been a decent appointment, but don't think he is suited to championship football!! Theres better candidates out there for sure! This is where his real skills lie, building a backroom staff of coaches, scouts, nutritionists, analysts, sports science etc. King, I think, with his direction could become a good head coach, in the shakey mould. Remember, it was under NPs encouragement at bristol that he started out on his coaching badges. someone who the players could respect for his history with the club 1
