This sounds a crazy question on the surface but I'm finding myself so disillusioned that if I had a choice right now,  I'd want this muck banished to L1 so they have that etched on their CV for all time and it might give us a chance of a genuine reset.

I remember the day we got relegated last time, 0-0 V Stoke going down at the expense of Cov staying up (it's funny how we could go down this time with them in the story again)

It feels so different this time though.  The amount of energy that relegation absorbed last time was ridiculous - I remember praying to stay up and I'm not even religious, I remember crying after the match. I remember being in literal shock after the match. We were absolutely the pits back then too but I had pride and cared about the club still, even with the clown Holloway in charge.

It's just so weird how I can feel so strong last time about staying up and then being the opposite this time and was wondering what other people thought about relegation.

There is a huge disconnect/apathy compared to when we went down to league 1 last time. The most unlikeable bunch of tw*ts that have ever played for us - I think a lot of us as you suggest feel like the club deserve it.

If we go down it really will be kill or cure for king power

It wouldn't help we'll be losing a lot of these players in June anyway and those that are left I doubt they have a League 1 relegation clause so would put us in danger of administration then we'd be stuck with more points deduction.

We'd not be able to maintain the Training Ground or even the Women's Team. KP aren't going to bale us out this time.

Unlike last time when we had very few overheads this time it would likely be catastrophic.

KP wouldn't be able to afford to sell it as it would be at a big loss.

Of course not. Lots of us are fed up & some for a long time.
The way that the club is run is terrible, but relegation isn’t the answer.

Top/King Power are going nowhere if we’re in League 1.

We’ve already hit the iceberg. You don’t just sink immediately

Following your analogy - you would just jump overboard rather than trying to get in one of the lifeboats then?

lol

Tough one.

Option 1: the club I love potentially never gets back to a decent level in my lifetime and could even go bankrupt

Option 2: some multi-millionaires (who will earn millions more regardless of performance) don't have a relegation they don't even care about on their CVs

I would take anything that speeds up the process of forced change.

I am not convinced that another relegation would be enough to instigate said change though.

No chance. I highly doubt we'll bounce back like last time. It will be a Bolton, Bradford, Portsmouth-esque existence for us if we drop.

With the poor performance, pending points drop Div1 is very likely

Of course not.

No guarantee we would come straight back up.

We still need to win League 2 to complete the set...
