All very beatable if we play like we did first half today and continue for both halves, put these teams to the sword get this confidence rolling on game after game !

Hamza might be enthusiastic enough but we need more quality unfortunately . Not really seen a lot of silko to be able to judge

Agree. Think they can both 'do the miles' but quality, at least in Hamza's case is lacking, Silko too early to tell but he was charging out when we were penned in toward the end, which was good too see.

Other than the performance being much improved, I like how the players appeared to be ‘up for it’ and they clearly cared…. Got into the Derby players faces and roughed them up a bit…. Particularly James

A win at pride Park is always enjoyable

A bit of effort and desire, about time. Has to start this team, I don't want to see Faes or Winks in a Leicester shirt again.

They are both decent squad options and the hard work late in games will be vital for us I am sure , just need a bit more quality to go with it to get us to the level we need to properly compete again 🙂

Everyone put there all in and we played as a team for the first time in a while.

Skipp's best performance for us, everyone done well tbf... hopefully this is the start of the season and we can carry on in this form.

Really good first half but was not happy with the second half at all, so little composure on the ball and not a single shot on goal. Skipp superb throughout and James also brilliant again.

Look, I know we’ve all been forced into a habit of moaning.  But that was a good away win and a big improvement.

Fully agree.
This is a tough league and no team is on top all game. Two years ago we had plenty of rubbish moments and dodgy periods even when we won 13 out of the first 14.
Today was a great performance for a variety of reasons; showed real talent, game plan, pace, ruthlessness, fighting qualities, togetherness, defensive strength and managed the game out really well.
Credit where credit is due, well played the manager of all the team and substitutes.

Let’s hope this performance and result kick starts our season!

7 (seven) academy players on the pitch at the end there.

Can't be far off being a record for us?

Impressive but  it’s not great that we have so many academy players in the first team squad and still up on finance charges …..

Made it harder than it needed to be. They were always going to be having more of the ball and the threat in the second but to offer absolutely nothing going forward isn't good enough.

Excellent result, a bit nervy second half but pleasing to see. Winks and Faes shouldn't play for us again.

Obviously a massive issue but there's hope, once we've managed to shift the overpaid dross on. That was a team I can get behind today.

For the remainder of this season we need to:

• Forget about promotion.

• Take the PSR hit.

• Get rid of the high paid prema donnas.

• Save as much parachute payment as possible  - just do enough to ensure we don't get relegated.

That should allow us to save enough of the parachute payments to give a better chance next season, hopefully without PSR hanging over us.

I’m personally grateful we have so many good academy players in the first team, seeing how toxic/shite a lot of our players are. Imagine where we’d be without them.

I think a change of captaincy is in order. Jordan James should have the armband.

dont be daft. You can’t make a loan player your captain.

I think that’s already the plan (whatever they say)

I think we need to save a lot to avoid psr issues this season and next
