We weren't exactly dominant in the first half, we just dared actually venture past the half way line

i think they upped their game big time second half.

I can't even be arsed to argue with someone who can't understand the difference between the word 'of' and 'have' tbh.

Leicester's 'style' has been unfashionable since around 2021. You think a new manager comes in and flicks a switch to sort that mid season?

Southampton may have taken the handbrake off with this new gaffer, but they were always a better footballing side this year than we are. Still didn't quite get it right, but the fact remains they were only some poor finishing away from racking up the points. Can't say that for us.

Everyone on here was pointing to Southampton's business in summer as an example of what we should be doing. They spent about £50m in the summer. Do you need reminding how much we spent?

Ok 🔔

You must have forgotten where they finished in the premier league and on how many points, you also must of forgotten that they sold £120m worth of players from that dog shit team.

For someone that states they can’t bothered to argue then goes on on to waffle in a post, surely defeats the purpose of highlighting why you can’t be bothered to argue with someone beneath your high intellect

Ricardo is being played one game and not the next because the guy would literally break if he did lol Have you watched him this season? His legs are jelly.

R.e Hamza. I'm saying it didn't work. He literally played a big chunk of that game in CDM and it barely changed a thing. Conceding still looked inevitable. And then it happened anyway.

Yes, Daka is shite. I agree. Maybe you're starting to understand our problem. We have rubbish footballers.

What's the alternative? Carranza? He's been fantastic.

Evans? Possibly, but he's a totally unknown quantity. You can't with any certainty say that bringing Evans on changes the outcome tonight.

Funnily enough I have, and I disagree. He’s not been at his normal levels, but k put that down to the manager, because I think Martinis a poor, uninspiring coach.

Hamza didn’t move into that role until Aluko came on, and at this point we had well

and truly handed the momentum to Bristol, so it was more or less like throwing a floatation device to someone whose already drowned.

Marti should have sure things up immediately, he didn’t, and allowed Bristol to regain full momentum and control of the game.

Don’t insult me, I’m acutely aware of the shortcomings that this team has, Daka is useful in certain scenarios, but not when you’re in control of a game, of anything you play Ayew down the middle to slow

the game down, and be a general nuisance disrupting the momentum of the game, which Daka can’t do. He just runs around aimlessly….

Why not play Evans, if you’re going to play Daka you may as well play Evans, if all he does is run around, miss control the ball, not holding up and not be a goal threat he’s matched Daka.

He crooks of the argument is, Marti threw this game today…. Again, through poor decision making at a key point in the match.

He’s a poor coach, who clearly doesn’t inspire this group of players

When you look at the bench very little experience. We don’t know what is happening with Winks or Ricardo but needed them in the second half. Very odd taking James off unless he was carrying an injury

Yeh but but but  we must play the youth it’s the future

if youd have said 4 points from these 2 games id have taken it,

but after tonight's second half performance again,

its kinda disappointing, as we once again dont turn up after a good first half,

That second half was painful to watch. Why didn’t he bring Ricky on and m9ve Hamza 8n to midfield, surelyRicky had 25 minutes in him, if not then why put him on the bench. He could even of used Faes. We were under the cosh for 45 minutes then why didn’t he change the formation rather then just players. Awful decisions yet again, useless-manager

And? You said you can't expect to go there and dominate all game, I'm pointing out we weren't really dominant at all.

We were dominant for most of the first half, from 10 minutes onwards

first half we had something  like 65% possession. For an away team, I’d say thats pretty dominant

They had 52% in the first half.

We just seem to be experts on disappointing ourselves. First half we looked great. Second half i think we mustered a couple of shots. Dont really get it.

my apologies. The 65% possession was Bristol’s for the entire game. Leicester had almost 55% possession first half..

You're gonna have to back this up with evidence lol

Flashscore and whoscored have it 55-45 in favour of Bristol City

I think Marti has found his best starting 11.

But I think he needs to start a different 11 for second halves.

We've just got back, truly ****ing awful second half and you could see the 2nd goal was coming. We were gutless and toothless for that 2nd 45 mins.

Gotta say tho, they absolutely put us to shame when it comes to pre match fan zones. Cracking sports bar and eateries within the stadium gates. :appl:

Another rubbish excuse.

at 0-2 up at half time, against a shit football team, you can see it out by making simple tactical decisions.

He’s left Ricardo on the bench, and keeps playing Hamza at RB, when he can’t play there…. We continue to persevere with Thomas when he couldn’t stop a piss wet toilet roll from rolling past him.

I can  accept James was tired but for **** sake, actually make a sub that will help? Daka will do nothing but chase lost courses, Bobby Reid isn’t a box to box midfielder….. bring Ricardo on, Move Hamza into the CDM role and just look to kill the momentum of the game…. For at least 20-30 minutes he basically let Bristol stroll through the midfield space that he had created for them.

****ing abysmal decision making. A simple tweak could have prevented it.

We can’t defend at the best of times, making decisions like this gives us no ****ing chance.

Not an excuse a fact.

Ricardo cannot physically play 2 games in 4 days.

Thomas is a poor player but who do we have as a fit viable alternative ?

Shout out to the bloke in front of me (I’d say early fifties) who arrived ten minutes into the game with a woman who was at least twenty years younger than him and dressed like she was going to a club.

They made eyes at each other throughout the first half, giggling as she took selfies of them, then came back for five minutes of the second half and left for good.

They have absolutely had a better night than everyone else who watched the second half.

And arguably a better night than I’ve had for all of my forties.

Alas not.

I forgot my Viagra.
