Joey Gudjohnsen for another ‘from own half’ effort.


Nalis vs Leeds in 03/04 as well. 
 

Vardy against Liverpool in 2016.
 

Konchesky was coming to mind but looking it up, it was away at Wolves. 
 

Probably more that I am forgetting.

His goal against Tottenham to get us a vital equaliser just after they took the lead was good

Abdul’s was pretty closed ask was vardys against Liverpool but I love these 2 goals. Maybe not the best ever but always stick out.

 

 

The other one was the mahrez one and the same game. Couldn’t fine a YouTube of it,

This goal always stuck with me from when I was a kid. The ball starts off heading towards Filbert Street before the swerve takes it around the goalkeeper.

I was thinking about this today, someone said Fatawu’s goal was the best goal they had ever seen at the KP, I mean it was good don’t get me wrong, it’s an outrageous effort but it certainly isn’t the best goal I’ve ever seen at the KP….  Abdul’s was more of a keeper error in my book, being so far off his line, kudos for spotting it, but for a professional footballer of his ability, I’d expect him to be able to put the ball into an open net from that distance. 
 

Controversially if day Joey’s was better, because his effort didn’t hit the floor, it just sailed in! 
 

My personal favourite at the KP is Lilian Nalis v Leeds….. outstanding hit to beat the then England Goalkeeper too. To score a goal like that, everything about the strike has to be perfect, and it was.

Depends on what you mean by best? Just technique, how good it looks, or do you include importance and context of the game in that?

 

Albrighton vs Sevilla for example is probably the one that felt the biggest and made me celebrate the most.
