Has MON or big NIGE said in any interviews what they think has happened to Leicester? Just curious to hear their thoughts

They’re both old school dudes who don’t tend to offer up speculation and neither have been involved with the club in years.

Nigel rarely does media these days. He appeared on Allardyce’s podcast a year or so ago but he didn’t discuss the club if I recall.

Martin is doing a live Q&A at DeMontfort Hall in February (?). Might hear something then.

On the whole, I don't see much ambition at the club right now, instead indifference rules – and that trickles down, all the way to the supporters.

What's the goal? Has the management or owner ever issued a statement that we need or ought to achieve an immediate return to the Premier League?

What are we doing in this league, generally speaking? Where do the people in charge want to see us finish?
Is it the aim to just play along, take it as it comes? WIn some, lose some?

Do they even care?

Clearly nothing is done in order to unite the fanbase. Where's the effort?

To me, the situation resembles a money-laundering scheme, where we just act as an intermediate for dirty money.

There's a massive attitude problem, from top to bottom.

The Blackburn comparisons are interesting, just as they were never going to carry on signing Shearers, Sherwoods and Dalgleishes, we no longer can sign, Tielemans, Cambiasso, Huth, etc…..we are simply an unattractive proposition and only players and managers looking to develop ( ultimately to leave) their own careers will come to us….this won’t change in the short term…..in short we are employing and paying people (players) who don’t want to be here, the manager is at a club where he knows if he turns it around, his value goes up, and he’ll be off, sadly can’t see that happening due to the players he has at his disposal, and he’ll lose his job as a result…..we are in a medium/long term mess….

I’ve stopped go going. found better things to do with my time & money, will not go back until the current owners have gone.

Fair play to the fans that still go & live in hope.

The best we can hope for is stay up & the owners sell up.

Happy New Year.

Yes I haven’t attended this season and that won’t change until he’s gone !
I’m shocked that fans still attend but there you go !

Not yet

We were horrendous when we hot relegated to league 1.

This team DOES has the potential  to be even worse as mentally they are broken so if we carry on like this then it could well be the worst come May when we are relegated.

I think the biggest tell-tale sign is the ability to care. Relegation to league one mattered, I was sad, in the years building up to it I still had faith, hope and I wanted to go.

Now I just don't care, have little to no interest in the results or going to the games.

And the only way that changes is if the board change. We can change the manager and change the players but whilst the rot remains at the top then it's hard to care what happens because this is not the Leicester City that I fell in love with

It's unique that we have an owner that stinks of money but sadly is unable to part with any. Before when it was the Levein/Kelly era we barely had a penny to scratch our backside with. The Allen/Megson/Holloway era was pretty much Holloway playing the role of captain of the Titanic after Mandaric's dodgy signings. It's not the worst so far but it's sure heading that way but more so due to the height that we have fallen from.

Most disinterested ive been in the club in 20 years 100%. Defeats used to hurt, generally do not care about them at all at the moment 😂. The club currently has absolutley nothing going for it or to be optimistic about. Financially fcked, shite aging players on big contracts, horrendous recruitment staff and planning. No actual competent coaches. Even in 07/08 it wasnt this gloomy

It's the most disconnected I've ever been. I don't care. I didn't even cheer the goal back. I wasn't arsed if we equalised or not, if anything I didn't want us to as it's just papering over the cracks and prolonging our inevitable relegation to League One.

I actually think it is.

I remember the 07/08 season, where we slept walked into relegation with no one ever really believing it would happen until too late.

But honestly that team had so much more fight than this team.

We could also defend back then ... yes we struggled to create, but we actually went down conceding less than a goal a game - This season our defence is as bad as our attack

This team just won't play... they just don't care and have no interest in the club and honestly the gap between the players and the fans has never been greater and it is clear they are not playing for us or the club

Despite the football and the relegation of 07/08, there was never any thought that the club were drifting into abyss. We always knew we were likely to bounce back and the club were in a much better position financially than we are now. In Milan Mandaric we had someone who knew how to run a football club and wanted to see the club succeed - now the attitude on the pitch is bad, but the attitude in the board room is even worse

Two guys behind me today were saying that this is the worse it’s ever been. That it wasn’t this bad, even in administration. Got to say I’ve never felt as bad as this supporting the club. I just didn’t really care today at all.

Worse ever? Or has there been worse times ?

Can you please correct 'worse' to 'worst' in the title.  It is doing my head in.   Ta.

I think after today it’s the worst I’ve known it since started following in ‘84

- the pleat years were shite but we had players we could get behind and we were nowhere near the highest wage bill in the division. Kelly and Levein were a bit crap but as Kelly always said they were a smashing bunch of lads and they were. Free transfers, rejects, cheap signings who didn’t earn much but clearly cared. This lot, wow where do you even begin to describe the shameful amount of money they are all earning to put out the displays they’ve done all season long. The horrific style of play, the lack of hope for the future, the ruining of decent young players. It will get worse from here but this for me is unparalleled in how bad it is today
