Would you take him back right now to bring back the feel good factor?

Interim until end of the season. Option to stay on if it works out.

8/1 here I see.  https://www.sportscasting.com/uk/news/next-leicester-manager-betting-odds/

I’m not against it. Have seen people suggest he could ruin his legacy here, but not sure that’s possible.

General preference is a Carrick type to take it as a long term project but I can see an argument for it.

My slight wildcard is Kevin Muscat. Won titles in 3 different leagues. Really tough guy who might instil some steel into our squad.

I think if it was Russell Martin, crowds would plummet to all time lows.

I've always felt although he has an affinity for us, we love him a lot more than he loves us

To be relevant again maybe.

The time at Celtic could have whet his appetite to be back in club football.

He must have loved the adoration during his short stint there. The new guy seems to have already lost that good feeling about the place after only a few games.

Obviously he might think we are a hiding to nothing and that’s fair enough if so. He has nothing to prove here.

When MON was here Jon wankstain Rudkin picked up cones at the end of a training session. And still got it wrong.

There is no way O’neil or anyone of his calibre, background or achievements is calling a loser like Rudkin, boss. No chance. It explains our poor choice of manager in the last few years. It explains why Enzo was so critical of the set up. It’s why these two shitbags are looking for someone more qualified than them to takeover.

But don’t worry, Guy Branston thinks he is the best in the business.

I'd give MON the job in a second. 18 month contract with an optional get out in the summer. Let him hand pick a number 2 who would take over from him at the end of the 18 months. That way we'd have the continuation of philosophy, pretty much the opposite of what Celtic did.

For those that are worried about MON stepping into the car crash that is us at the minute then consider how Celtic is going pretty much the same way North of the border.

I remember him saying he thought we'd have asked him to help out when we sacked Brendan. But got Dean Smith and co instead. That was the time. Too deep in sh** now for anyone's good

Is that true ? If so that shows even more how incompetent horse riding man child is.

NO NO NO. This club needs someone like Roy Keano, someone who'd restore a bit of fight and passion. Because this squad look devoid of everything except apathy.

Yep

“If they had asked me, which they didn’t, I think that would have been interesting because you feel as if you could have got some points on the board,” he said at a ViaPlay TV press conference.

“I’m not saying it would have been a long-term thing. I would have thought about it anyway."

Didn’t he once say himself “never go back”? He lasted five months at Forest because he fell out with the players. There’s no way it ends well for him. We don’t like winners here at Loser FC.

100% it's not like he hasn't managed recently and the deal would probably only run to the the end of the season.

If he keeps us up then that will be ok, if he gets us into the playoffs even better.

If we want to have a shot at getting into the playoffs and filling the stadium again this is the only option imo.

He fell out with the Chairman not the players

Our fan base doesn’t have the patience for a long term project. First run of bad results and it would be CARRICK OUT!

I heard him on an interview on talkShite after he left Celtic recently, and he was basically pitching himself for a new job. Whether he’d want to come back here is another story, but I think he is exactly the type of leader we need at the moment.
