You are encouraging a toxic atmosphere at the ground which hardly helps the players when things are difficult on the pitch as well as off.  Didn't realise it needed spelling out.

By that logic, why aren't we winning loads of games, as thousands are still clapping the players off at FT, even after multiple 3 goal losses.

Do we need to cheer louder to ensure they only lose by 2?

I genuinely think the reduced attendance tonight will be down to people not bothering due to the weather, being a Monday TV game and people cant be arsed after first day back at work.

I think the boycott will only be a 1000 or so people tops.

Clapping the team off after turning in a truly embarrassing performance is just entirely performative. You don't really appreciate the effort of the players when they've just not so much as laid a finger on Sheffield Utd.

As has been mentioned countless times in this thread already, if you are not attending the game for those reasons, then that counts part of the boycott because people were not missing games in large numbers for those reasons previously.

The irony that the fans are the toxic party.

The (majority of) players and staff whom have repeatedly shown poor professional conduct, a lack of effort and very rarely shown any gratitude keep deserving the support ?!?

This is inverted !

Good news if so. That's 1000 people to be strong enough to show some bravery.

Think how it will grow as we go through the gears :)

But it's okay for those 'real fans' to say what they like about about those not happy with how the clubs run lol

You could see it as sycophantic behaviour, but in many ways it's worse because they have nothing to gain.

I can’t believe what I’ve read on here….

Promoting a toxic atmosphere? Fans react to the product they see before them. The product we’ve got before us is one that’s seen us complete the most spectacular self inflicted decline in football history.

The question I have, is how can ANY loyal Leicester fan standby and accept this?

Fans whinging about the boycott and telling everyone how much of a real fan they are because they back the lads are the same sort of folk who used to give Pearson shit

But the irony is, they won’t even be backing them.

The type of fans who criticise those of us supporting a boycott will go the the game, sitting silence for 90 minutes (sorry 80 minutes) , clap the backwards and sideways passing, and clap the team off the pitch following yet another abject performance (probably clap as they walk back to the car to beat the traffic).

Is that supporting the team? Backing the lads? Or celebrating an inadequate product?

The attendance was 28k against QPR in January last year for a 3rd round FA Cup.

If the attendance is signigicnalty lower than that e.g less than 26000, it's a good start for any protest

It's like being asked to "get behind the lads". Yep, agreed, but by all means give us something to get behind.

Pitiful home and away performances, catalogue-upon-catalogue of errors at the back, coupled with frustrating Jekyll-and-Hyde 45 minute specials, are hardly reasons to applaud them off the pitch at full time.

Speculative Abdul Fatawu goals from the half way line, or barn-storming defensive masterclasses from Nelson, are flashes in the pan in this sh*tshow of a season as far as I am concerned

Most of my ventures to KP this season have been virtually sat in silence, just like the general match-day atmosphere. I mean, even the away end don't get involved much these days!

Been advised that being a yo yo club is expected and a boycott is ridiculous

Sounds like pure cuckoldry.

Not even a joke at this point, people who say things like this woudn't care if their wives were cheating on them.

Boycott or not, the reduced attendance will be reflective of our plight.

It will also be reflective of the weather conditions, could be -4, also the later KO time with kids back at school and people with work commitments
