Wins a win even if it wasn’t pretty at times. Really exciting to end with 6 academy players on the pitch. The prospect of next season having the likes of Nelson, Aluko, Monga, Page, Stol, Thomas x2, Braybrooke and even an Alves and Evans all a year older and as bona fide first teamers is basically what’s keeping me going! Another clear out in the summer, a few decent signings and PSR troubles behind us and we might just turn things around.

Anyone else involved in the train station shit show? Police/Station staff should be ashamed, could have been a disaster.

Got there just after 10, it was no entry for 5 mins then they opened the gates and I luckily jumped on the 1017 to loughborough.

I got the feeling they were waiting for the 1030pm sheffield train to allow Derby fans a train home and get them out of the city.

You did well. Absolute chaos after that. Ended up on the Sheffield one with the Derby fans. Thought they were really well behaved in the circumstances to be honest.

The police basically decided to only let people in through one door. Then changed the door after directing everyone to head to the left (clearly on the wind up…). Honestly amazing there wasn’t a crush, got quite literally carried into the station at one point.

Never seen that before. Plenty of space on the platforms for people, absolutely zero need for what they were doing.

I was on that 10.30pm train. Jammed solid but no problems from the derby fans. Don't know what the police were trying to do. Loughborough foxes fans also on that train.

Yeah thought they were sound considering how much booze they’d probably all had. Got off at Loughborough easy enough thankfully lol

Real twatish fans tonight, both walking to and from the station with my lad.. chants of wheres your chairman gone before the game to a few lads having a dance in the road outside Mecca like they were practicing their strictly routine..

I left right on the final whistle but did my normal job of Olympic walking speed up the road to the station because I thought it would be chaos getting North.

I've done too many train journeys over the last 2 weeks and my tolerance of the general public is getting strained......😀

Sounds like we may be best letting Carranza sit on a bench at the station next match and let him direct people around. Be nice for all involved if he did something useful during his time here.

As a neutral tonight I enjoyed my KP "experience".

Good stadium, decent atmosphere, city centre location, beer queues not too bad.

You guys (and girls) are lucky.

Most probably Top seems to be in trouble financially with king power

Happy with the 3 points and the win over the sheep but god that was yet another "paper over the cracks" game - which we sorely don't need..

We were so, so poor, and probably won only because Derby were a next level of sh1t worse than us.

We have, and in all fairness never had under Marti a playing identity, or any clearly definable tactics were we can "see what he is trying to do" in a match, where the players know their roles, and their on pitch actions show structure and purpose with

some affect and visible results.

We mostly look disjointed and confused during matches and whatever training and instructions from Martin they receive just compounds this further.

Unfortunately with his record of 2 steps forward and 1 step back Marti won't be going anywhere this season, as "Top and Gang" are too blind too see, or are just happy to ignore the problems that Marti 'brings to the table' as long as we are in no danger of relegation.

We now have a small cushion built where the impending points deduction wouldn't hurt us by dropping the club into the bottom 3 and this cushion is slowly growing with each of the '2 steps forward' games we grind out a result in.

Once the deduction is applied the club will no doubt spin the rhetoric and use it as an excuse for a poor League position, conveniently skirting over the fact the real reason it was dished out in the first place...

Yes you bunch of ****ing incompetent, negligent, tw@ts. Its your poor choices with manager's and playing staff , the horrendous actions with contacts, shoddy day to day running of the club, coupled with other financal mismanagement over the past 5 or 6 years..  and all your doing.

We are in limbo, and until Top, KingPower, Rudkin and the other dross in positions of power and influence depart our club we will just slowly stagnate and never have a stable footing to heal from.

Yes Marti is "not fit for purpose" and needs to go, from the winning of matches perspective and our entertainment levels.

But it pains me to say I think we still need to drop a lot further to reach a level where the Nepo Baby and KingPower are uncomfortable enough to sell up and bugger off, but what that level is I have no idea.

( Sorry for the long post guys, it wasn't intended, but I heeded to get it all.off my chest before the end of the year)

Are we getting a new owner and board? I get your point about the youth and it literally is the only positive thing about the club right now, but things are not going to be turned round at the club whilst Top and his board remain in charge. And the PSR troubles won't be going away either. I honestly think we'll be in administration before the end of the season. A win is a win, as you say, but all it does is paper over the cracks.

He lives with Bobby De-Cordova Reid in a beautifully furnished 4 bed detached house in North Leicestershire,

He scores them with his left foot,
He scores them with his right,
And when we play the Derby he scores all blummin night

What tune is that?

There really is absolutely nothing between about 20 teams in this league and we're very much one of those - which is egregious given the money we spend on this squad in wages. Multiple times the wage bill of most of the other 20 as well.

It's good that Derby 'still' haven't won at this ground but the whole thing feels like we're just... existing. We'll finish with an almost identical number of wins, draws and losses. We're completely average - below average coaching and management, above average individuals in some areas that'll cancel out and see us finish anywhere from 10th to 16th.

12/24 half-way through the season.

Epitomy of a mid table championship club.

Lets be honest would we really want to go straight back up with this squad?

Rebuilds going to take several transfer windows.

Strangely it’s not the where we are the table that is causing discontent, it is the effort and tactical structure being seen.

Points matters and as long as we don’t go down again, then ok, let’s clear out more high earners, etc and go again on a better footing.

Unfortunately that win keeps him in the job at least two more games.

I'm not sure how Derby were above us on both occasions we played them because they have looked shit. But the table doesn't lie.

The lads did put in a shift last night I'm not denying that at all, but **** me it's boring to watch. Every time we've had the lead at HT the second half has been absolutely turgid to say the least. We barely even have a shot.

We are bang average and deserve to be mid table, it's just annoying that teams above us really shouldn't be there with the squads they have.

What I would give got a clean sheet too
