Good for him, and good for us.

Hopefully we have someone else lined up to at least replace him. Guessing that might be Antonio, much as I'm not enamoured with that option.

You can get a 2 for 1 on beers in the concourse most weeks as the staff at the counter don't know how to count, I presume.

I've had a couple of times this year where they've just placed two pints down in front of me without thinking.

It may be that I look like an alcoholic.

Currently 7 goals and 2 assists in 13 games for top of the table Lens.

If it wasn't for the disaster of last season, fans would be gagging for him.

Boubacary Soumare was one of the best midfielders in Ligue 1 when Lille won the title.

Shows all you need to know about the standard over there.

Mbappe came from Ligue 1 (if we are playing that game)....

Edit - Oh, it's Eduoard. Yeah he is useless. lol

Life is so unfair sometimes. Farewell sweet prince, may you go forth and fall over at the slightest breeze somewhere else.

For a moment, I thought you were talking about Patson Daka.

Think the same applies for all 3 of them, only Ayew occasionally decides he would rather play football than throw himself on the floor where as the other two just aren’t capable of standing up.

We’ve not really seen much of him but happy days if true. Best for everyone.

Why the feck we ever signed him in the first place????

Was it based simply on video footage and a clever agent?

The video footage I watched of him was quite complimentary but edited to only include the goals he scored. Which weren't many.

Desperation and depth required.

I'm not all that arsed about this one in the end.

What's more worrying is if you take a look back at the summer transfer rumours and the players we were linked with actually buying and seeing what they've done since.  It's not inspiring confidence ahead of this window I tell ya.

It’s a terrible signing and our scouts got it wrong but…….. the why is obvious. We were desperate for a striker. I’m not against taking a punt on a diamond in the rough, especially not on a risk free loan like this.

It didn’t work out but I will always prefer a gamble on someone being a gem rather than signing someone like Antonio. Because that’s how you grow the club

Didn’t work out this time but it was the right type of move imo.

Desperate to get anyone in the door at the end of the window. Not very often we do business early.

We need 2 strikers. We have none that can score goals.

We have at least one of those. Unfortunately, his scoring record resembles Jesus walking on water, aka a miracle happening.

Carranza out, Antonio in. Happy

We should recreate the Cantona song that man utd sing at Christmas for this club legend

I think the only positive is he won't be here for the whole season.

At least we have learned something following the Edouard debacle.

It would be more weird if something had if recent experience tells us anything!
