Macclesfield on a plastic pitch would've been worse. Southampton away is no worse than any other Championship club.

I would’ve much preferred going to see us play Macclesfield. Getting Southampton is just dull, miles away and absolutely uninspiring. The only reason I would be against Man City is that I think we could get battered 9-0.

Could ask for 4800 ish tickets. Doubt we will take 1500 tbh

Traditionally we have great away support in the FA Cup. This season may be different but I think we´d sell 4800 no problem, especially as it won´t be shifted to an awkward KO time for TV

We could ask for 4800.    The Club could've sold 1500 after Members.       And the useless Club incompetents, still wouldn't put it on General Sale!

Well, at least it's winnable.

Revenge for the 3-0 drubbing?

It all depends on whether on not we can put a run of successful results together. This month's fixtures will define the remainder of the season.

Not worth us being in the cup really, rather just focus on the league

Only bit of fun we might get this season, so enjoy it while it lasts.

Swear most football fans (not just Leicester) would be a lot happier if they let themselves enjoy the Cup for what it is.

Yea this has potential for big numbers but our club are the worse at marketing so they will **** it up!

There's a good mix of ties from different leagues, I'm not really sure what stops it being dull with who is in there?

assuming Liverpool get through there's 5 same division ties, and of the ones that aren't Stoke v Fulham and Birmingham v Leeds feel like they should be. There's no derby matches in there, and the minnows still in have gotten the most nondescript prem teams possible. Even the ones where there are a couple of divisions difference: Arsenal and Man City are both at home. Get Stoke v Port Vale, and Fulham v Bristol City instead, get Arsenal and Man City away to the current opposition and give Mansfield and Macclesfield even Villa or Newcastle level opponents at home and it would be a good draw, but as is it's a bit bland - not one of those games do I look at and want to watch on tv

Even with a possible increased allocation, I wouldn’t bank on the club putting it on general sale. Not the best of draws but in with a chance of progression.. Watch it be moved to a Friday evening though

I care. Love a good cup run.

Honestly can’t get my head around the “who cares” attitude towards any cup competition.

In such a dreary league season too. Trying to get a buzz on for cups is all we have.

The amount of away draws we get in cup competitions is ridiculous. Just had a quick look at the numbers and if I'm correct in the 20 cup games since we won the FA Cup, 15 have been away.

I don’t understand this point we are not getting promoted or relegated why not go for a good cup run?

Getting promoted is far more attainable than a decent cup run tbh. I’d rather beat Southampton in a league game and lose this, or we win and then lose 6-0 to man city in the next round.

I personally don’t think our youngsters are any worse than the so called first 11 anyway

Honestly yes, and with a win we'd suddenly be another decent draw off of the quarters.

Remember the cup runs through the years previously, Dublin's winner at Charlton or Nugent's winner at Norwich.

Arsenal and Man City both drawn at home again we are away for the upteenth time in the FA Cup.  Even the draw is fixed.  I am pleased United are out guarantee if they had not been they would have been at home again too.

Liverpool too. To be fair they have to split gate income with the visiting side, so for smaller clubs it's a decent cash boost if you land a game against Tourist FC.
