Not so sure. These are the types that say (and I've heard this line almost word for word)

'n'er mind, eh, we'll be 'ere next week won't we Kev?' see ya!'

Yeah but they will get bored and drift away surely. Where were they all pre-2014? They came out the woodwork and I hope they crawl back in.

Heard all round the ground every game unfortunately.

But anyway, more notice needed next time. Not on a game where the club are offering cheap tickets. Hope Top gets egg on his face because his planned willy waving against his fellow Asian owner hasn't gone down well today.

Top won’t be here today anyway he’ll be sitting on a horse, polo mallet in hand
Rather than sort his sinking ship out !!

He was tbf. First time since November.

I have nothing but hate and vitriol for him since the day he was sat there laughing when Liverpool scored the late winner against us last season.

Absolute disgrace to his lineage.

That MAY mean that he's going to sack Cifuentes

Doesnt look like it. Not too many empty seats.

Quite a few missing in L/K. Could see a lot of spaces in the kop and the West Stand had about 20% empty space.

There's so many people that just won't break their routine though, which I get to an extent.

It's such a weird protest to do though. If you're going to protest best to do it outside the club shop or something before the match.

For me personally once I'm in the ground I'm supporting the team (until they let a goal in the 5th minute then I'm dead inside till 90+7 when I leave without clapping or booing)

Maybe next home game we do a mass sit in after the game and vent our dissatisfaction for the SHCITT we have been dished up on a regular basis would have been a great option today as Top finally decided to grace us with his attendance?

Me and my mate arrived at the ground 10 minutes into the game, half expecting there to be queues going out of the turnstiles.

It turned out that only one turnstile in the Kop was open and about 4 people were downstairs in the concourse. Pathetic.

Communication and organisation wasn’t quite there for this one, but don’t personally think it was the right one anyway with the game not on TV.

Charlton needs to be loud and forceful, outside the ground, it’s on tv - maybe a sit in after the game or something.

I didn't think it would get going much prior and unfortunately  it was about as sh1t as the game.

I spoke to numerous people before the match and no one knew about the 14 minute boycott. Communication needs to improve.

This is it. One tweet less than 4 days before the match isn’t enough, especially for a protest that knocks people out of there normal match day routine.

It seems the days of protesting at the end of games has disappeared.

All those that you'd expect to be vocal, vociferous and show their anger at the way things are going are the same ones who are leaving after 2 goals, shit play or on 50, 60, 70, 80 mins through being so pissed off.

That just leaves a load of the deluded ones who still either clap, mildly boo or show a slight displeasure towards the players. Yeah, that'll do it!

We need everyone to stay to the end, flock down to the front of the stands at full time and seriously let them know how we feel.

It just seems nowadays, the way to "show the club and KPFC"  our bitterness and anger towards them is to walk out and post later abut it!

Maybe, just maybe, the vast majority of fans are not in line with the "protestors." The ground was more or less full at kick off.

Clearly the boycott/protest worked & twisted Top's arm to sack Marti
