It's not like he's been needed at Chelsea, so why didn't we sign him at the start of the month? Could have had him as an option for 4 or 5 games.

Desperate panic signing isn't it

Yeah kind of agree with this aswell although I’d caveat it with just because the lad is 6’2 doesn’t necessarily mean he’s an arial threat if he’s kack in the air and doesn’t use his height effectively. Some big lads play like they’re small but hopefully he does use his height to his advantage and can head a ball

Come on now... We would never sign a target man with a 50p for a head. Not with our bulletproof scouting... Right?

If we wanted a lump just recall Opoku. Hes played more senior football and scored some goals

Or play Vestergaard up top. Anything goes at the moment

According to Wiki he spent time in Market Harborough

Sorry, I have nothing else positive to say.

Who’s top scorer for Harborough? Gerrimin

He is 6.2 and 20 yesrs old jake is 5.9 at 17

If Evans played for Chelsea and Richards played for Leicester, we would prioritise Evans. That's the fundamental problem.

This lad may be good, but he has absolutely no track record in senior football. This makes him as big a gamble.

It’s just unreal isn’t it 🤣🤣 when you think things could improve they genuinely get worse

it’s actually a comedy sketch

these last 3 years cannot be real

From beating Chelsea in the FA Cup final to signing a striker of theirs nobody even knew existed to save us from the drop to League One.

Make it make sense.

And half our fanbase tolerates this and finances this by carrying on going to games.

Tell them to start boycotting and they go on a "holier than thou" tirade about supporting the club for 70 years when the pitches were mud.

I remember Amartey bursting the length of the pitch on video to score - I swear it was AI before AI was fashionable. Certainly Big Dan never threatened anything like it in his time with LCFC 😬

fair point ,
He led the line in his first career start against Trinidad & Tobago but yes  has been deployed as a right-winger or a late-game substitute  to exploit his pace and left-footed shooting from the right flank. also yes chelsea have used him there , but i think its not his prefered position

Ah thank you makes sense he’s better than daka though so no complaints

Not got a convincing record at all, but sometimes players will just hit the ground running and things work out. Let’s just hope and pray it works out that way for this kid. Reality is, we probably need 7-8 goals from him and he’ll have more than contributed then can go on his merry way.

Someone at the club has put a filter of “Jamaican striker with broken legs” on their scouting software and left it on after the Antonio deal collapsed

Sick and tired of our fans having to tell themselves this stuff. We’ve said it about Ayew, Carranza et al. At what point do we just admit we can’t scout shit under this setup
