McBurnie and Bamford both available in the summer on frees and would have been a massive difference instead we wasted money on Carranza & Vietas

Unfortunately you would have been criticised on here if you suggested them in the summer, but it was clear that's what we needed. I said two or three years ago we needed a big forward but I got shot down with "route one football", but I didn't mean that, I just meant someone who is strong and can hold the ball. Our forwards are so weak, especially Daka, knocked off the ball by any half decent centre half. You saw on Tuesday how McBurnie could hold the ball, lay it off and shrug off our centre backs with ease (I know Vestergaard is weak for a centre half anyway but you get the point).

I'd still criticise signing Bamford, him and DCL seem to about as good technique as Daka. I genuinely don't know how they score more than 2 a season haha.

McBurnie is a loveable striker though. Absolute grafter and pain for defenders. Can score with his head and feet.

Marti was absolute dogshit! We didn’t run enough off the ball and that’s down to him. He was bailed out by some excellent individual moments from JJ and Abdul. We had no plan or shape under him.

Rowett I had high hopes for but didn’t do enough and just hid behind his excuses that the players can only play one way etc. That’s just plain lazy and absolute bollocks. A decent coach could change the formation and shape over a couple of weeks. I remember Matt Elliot saying that O’Neill had them over the weekend drilling a back three as a team until they got it!

Rowett became like the club, completely lame! Go back to punditry Gary where you can chat shit!

Genuinely interested to see what gets served up tonight.

For all Rude’s faults, he handled the initial pathway for Monga well and we had the final farewell of Vardy. This time around we have nothing.

I cannot believe for one minute that Gary is going to start reintroducing the youth. Not sure if I was the club management I would trust him to do so. But he can’t serve up Winks, Daka and Ayew, and no loan player (apart from James) should be in the squad. Surely Riccy doesn’t start either but gets a couple of minutes. I bet he never thought his goodbye would be to a 1/4 full stadium after defeat to Millwall.

Which is the reason why it shouldn’t happen.

We’re down and the Millwall game will be difficult anyway and the stadium toxic. Protect those players.

Maybe at Blackburn mix them in then

I don't see anything to gain by playing the kids this late in the season, the fans need to be able to vent their anger and hatred at the first team, the board and Rowett in the last 2 games.

We can start a fresh with a clean slate and the kids in league 1 when most of these players have gone.

I think Rowett is up there with the worse City managers of all time. He is dreadful. His interviews are BS. in hindsight we should have kept with Cooper. He may of kept us up in premier league.  We certainly wouldnt be looking at league 1.  I am nit sure I would want him to play the kids tonight. The mood will be toxic. It wouldn’t be fair on them. I do hope this is the last time we see Rudkin but won’t hold my breath

I want all of our worst, lazy, most toxic players doing 90 mins. This is their last home match before they all skulk away.

I can’t decide if it would harm a young player or not. Thinking back to a long time ago when I moved up from youth to men’s football at 16/17 I  was just proud to be playing with the men, and chuffed to bits if I got a tiny bit of praise. If I was playing in a poor side which was losing, it didn’t matter to me as I was only interested in my own performance and contribution. I just wanted to play as much as possible. If I beat an oldie on the other team, often simply by being fitter and quicker , I’d be over the moon. I think at times Page and the others  brought that fearless energy and youthful turn of pace which gave us a bit of hope. Remembering a young Rooney when he first hit the headlines ( against Arsenal?).

On balance, I’d include some in tonight’s squad and try to get them on in the second half depending on the situation, and definitely involve them more at Blackburn

I personally think the senior players should face the shame of playing for us in both the remaining games, they shouldn't be let off so lightly.

I don't see it as any great honor for a youth team player making his debut in a dead rubber, it's not sending them the right message IMO.

Young players are not going to get booed, much like how James got cheered by the angry fans outside.

The players on there way out should be dropped from the match day squad. It’s a no lose game where it’s a chance to finish the season on a positive by looking at the quality of the youngsters against a team battling for promotion

He reminds me of Terry Connor @The Bear ...dealt  a terrible hand but emphatically unable to play it anyway..

Rowett is out of his depth. He was as a player with us too (not like Thomas ba, but we'd been used to drinking 15 quid bottles of wine at the time and he rocked up a solid 6 quid a bottle)

The only crumb of comfort I have is while he's out of his depth with us, he was perfectly suited to Derby. Says it all..

Connor was never a proper manager. Always a number 2 to Big Mick.

The few games he was put in caretaker charge after McCarthy was sacked he always looked like he was about to burst into tears in post-match interviews. Particularly when we got thumped 0-5 away at Fulham:

I do find it crazy that he talks repeatedly about the players being professional and being paid - essentially it being their responsibility to remain professional throughout their time here. Alluding to them not being professional or committed. I have no doubt that each one has lack basic decency or commitment that is required of them.

The part I find ridiculous is that its Rowett saying this. This twat goes to Portugal within weeks of being appointed - at the time where he could zone our and actually work with the squad. But also see when Winks is coming on in the last game. Firstly, no serious manager includes that twat in the squad. But if you are including him, having a laugh and joke with him before going on.

He needs **** off very quickly - he has come here for a pay day from day 1. Added nothing. Looks like he stinks and was a pretty shit player for us too. Real let down.

Genuinely don’t think he has a say

If you think it’s an instruction from Top go listen to him speak to the fans. You are giving him far too much credit, then you got the next weasel in line that couldn’t get a fax out in time. Picking a relegated teams starting 11 is the least of their worries

Stoke fan at work said he’s detested there for being an arrogant c*nt and you can see why.

Absolutely no shame for starting Winks, he’s taking the p*ss out of us fans. Sent us down with a whimper, cannot wait to see the back of this idiot.

Thing is - Millwall will know nothing about these players. Maybe Motsi far too young but the rest are fair game.

If we turn up with the OAP's we usually play they will know exactly how to play them.

Whats happened to Silko Thomas?

broke into a sprint once and so is banned on the assumption of doping
