Took a bit of a hiding at Rennes, which is the only real trouble I've had surprisingly.

We left to barriers that all the other City fans were being ushered down so we could get back to the car quicker, obviously not thinking about the ultras section still drinking outside their end post game.

The fact none of us look French and I was carrying a giant England flag probably didn't help lol

Could've been much, much worse.

I remember going to Villa park one year. As we were walking to the ground, we must have been walking past the main entrance. Someone that looked a lot like David Ginola storming out the stadium down the stairs. Gets into his car and speeds off out the car park.

We asked the steward if it was David Ginola and he said "yeah, I think he just found out he's not in the team today" lol

The last few games I’ve been to I’ve felt my soul leaving my body as I leave the ground.

This happens to me...but it's as I arrive.

Went to a Wembley concert in the seventies and managed to get some Wembley turf from under the covering. Took it in a matchbox to every home FA cup game and and prayed with it in front of the Filbert street road sign. Never worked of course. Had lost it by the time we won it.

Went Charlton away when they played at Upton park before sat navs, terrible traffic so head for some floodlights in the distance, realise they werent upton park and missed the first half. 2 or 3 down anyway if my sxxt memory serves me right. Also remember Leicester fans turning a burger van over at Fulham or Orient with the bloke still inside. Crazy times

I was walking past the co-op in West Bridgford on the way to a Notts County game and picked up half a dozen 9mm bullets from the little clump of grass at the foot of a lamp post.

Showed a guy we were with who was in CID and he chucked them in a bin, I was really annoyed.

Getting off the tube at Wembley for the derby play off, mass brawl all around me that lasted about ten seconds. As the dust cleared there were bodies laid out everywhere.  Don't know if they were Leicester or Derby.

It felt like that scene in pulp fiction where Samuel L Jackson gets shot at, looks himself up and down and can't believe that he hasn't been hit. It seemed a miracle to walk through it unscathed.

I know it wasn't on the way to or from a game strictly speaking (sorry)...

But the Ranieri sacking. We were still out walking the streets of Seville singing his name when the news came out.

Must have been the seventies (again) and I was on the train and it broke down between Loughborough and Leicester. Willy Carlin and Bobby Kellard  were both on it too. Last saw them running across the field next to the train towards a small road. They got to the game before I did.

Many years ago l drove alone to Selhurst Park. Got hopelessly lost in Sarf Landun (doesn't everyone) so followed a car with a Palace scarf in the back window. He eventually drove into a Tesco superstore car park. Turned out he was only going shopping with his missus. I made it to the ground but can't remember how l got there, think it was just pot luck. Wished l hadn't we lost 2-1.

First time I went to Selhurst Park, for the FA Cup game in 84, we came out of Norwoood Junction station and followed 2 lads who looked like football fans. After a few minutes we saw some floodlights and carried on, only to find out they were in a railway sidings. We eventually found the ground, but we lost 1-0

Early 2000s when I was a kid I went to a game against Pompey where afterwards my uncle took me to The Turnstile so he could have a few more beers.

I remember there being real concern from police as they were gathered outside and Portsmouth fans were heading towards looking for a scrap.

There was a fat, bald man kicking off inside about wanting to go and fight them and he was trying to ignite a chair with a lighter so they'd have to evacuate the pub.

He tried to pour some of his beer on the chair to act as some kind of igniter but was unsuccessful in his attempts.

It's not the most glamorous story but it's still in head 25 years later.

Also, a personal favourite was bonding with Stoke fans a few seasons ago on the walk back to the train station when they kept shouting "Sid" at my mate who is a dead ringer for the sloth from Ice Age. Poor b*stard.

Last season at home against forest, We walked past a park and for some reason I think we got in the middle of an organised scrap. My mate got smacked on the back of the head and we have no idea if they were forest or Leicester.

Mid 90s - drove over to Grimsby, parked the car, put the radio on and heard the game had been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.  Similarly, on the way to Brighton, on the train, at the last stop before Brighton they announced the game had been postponed, due to a flooded pitch.

We went to the replayed games and Leicester won both of them

At Filbert St, I was stood in the Kop pre-match and an announcement was made, "Could the owner of a blue Cortina..."

Oh... I've got a blue Cortina

"Registration number ***..."

My car starts with those letters...

"**** please attend to their car as the alarm is constantly going off."

*#$©! It is my car!

It was parked all the way on Wilberforce Rd. I think I ran all the way there, turned the alarm off (it was always over-sensitive) and ran all the way back and only missed the first 10 mins.
