I wonder what the respective teams collective salary totals were ? I hadn't heard of a single Norwich player before today but their work ethic put our collection of multi millionaires to shame

Reckon they may have scored more if Josh Sargent was still playing for them.

Ayew even tried to fall over when the defender wasn't near him. The guy is pathetic.

Bobby was useless. Okoli a massive liability and Mavididi and Fats not effective at all.

Honestly, such a bunch of soggy wet blankets. No one with any grit. Well, apart from JJ, I'll give him that.

Get the board gone. Corrupt frauds

The squad is listed below.

I've highlighted the players who I think might be described as have 'played and proven themselves at higher levels'.

I think I've been incredibly generous in terms of what 'proven' means, and also wrt when some of them last did whatever it might mean.

Can you tell me who I've missed, because it's a long way off 'almost all of them'?

     Jakub Stolarczyk
     Fran Vieites
         Asmir Begovic
         Caleb Okoli
         Harry Souttar
         Jamaal Lascelles
         Jannik Vestergaard
     Ben Nelson
     Victor Kristiansen
     Luke Thomas
         Ricardo Pereira
    Olabade Aluko
         Harry Winks
         Oliver Skipp

Choudhury  (when I said generous, I meant it)
     Jordan James
     Joe Aribo
     Michael Golding
     Louis Page
         Aaron Ramsey
     Divine Mukasa
        Bobby De Cordova-Reid
    Jeremy Monga
        Stephy Mavididi
    Abdul Fatawu
    Wanya Marçal
    Patson Daka
        Jordan Ayew
    Dujuan Richards

Ok - so that is 13 players that you have highlighted in bold.

Of the greyed ones:

Stolarcyk has played and played well, in The Premier League.

Jordan James has played in the French top tier and a full international

Fatawu has literally got a Championship winners medal, a full international, the youngest of the Ghana players that played at AFCON

Kristiansen - Danish international and played in Serie A for Bologna who finished fourth

Joe Aribo - Nigerian international, runners up in AFCON, won the SPL and Scottish Cup with Rangers, 53 Premier League appearances

Patson Daka - Championship winners medal, four Austrian Bundesliga titles, Bundesliga player of the season, Zambian International played at AFCON, played in Champions League and  Premier League.

Luke Thomas - FA Cup winner, 82 Premier League appearances, England age groups up to U21

That's another seven to add to your thirteen.  The rest are highly rated kids breaking through such as Monga, Page, Nelson, Mukasa and all capped in their international age groups.  Nelson having earned rave reviews at Oxford last year and former academy player of the year.

I think I have made my point.  These players should be doing much, much better and what they continue to serve up is a disgrace.  Now. can anyone name me another Championship Squad that comes close to ours in terms of pedigree?

Leave daka on then (why can't he play for 90 mins?) don't give these journeymen who don't give a damn another single minute. They don't deserve it. It doesn't improve us bringing them on, or playing them from the start, so why do it at all? Stick a kid in, not someone who is literally robbing us financially and doesn't give a damn!!! All such players need to be binned. We're going down with or without them. So let them know we don't want them here stinking the place out anymore! When a manager has the balls to do this, I'll appreciate them.

Daka fits that bill, he's a useless and a very overpaid journeyman who's robbed us considerably more than Ayew.

The whole of the squad also fit that bill and have stunk the place out all season, it's why we're in the bottom 3 and going down.

The problems is that they good individual players. You still need players bring them altogether, players that graft, leaders and inspire. We have no players with these qualities. Just poor recruitement.

Nope, the sky commentary team says it every live match - we have a very talented group of players who's application this season has been a disgrace and shouldn't be in this position.

The whole squad have been a disgrace to the club and badge, absolutely ****ing shocking.

Yes, most of the 13 I highlighted were a joke. You do not appear to be joking with your additional list, but you have indeed made your point.

TBH I was really just hoping you'd be daft enough to big up Joe Aribo, but I got 'Luke Thomas is an FA Cup Winner' and 'ignore Daka's five years with us' as a bonus.

Only just got home after the game as me and my lad had to do something fun for a bit rather than just drive home in silence after watching that atrocity exhibition.

Approximately four players tried - Winks, Skipp (who wasn’t as good as he has been recently), Nelson and Jakub (who cannot help that he’s far from the best, but made one class save)

Everyone else is garbage. I expect that from Ayew, Daka and so on. But Fatawu is the most infuriating. He was astonishingly crap. Tons of bad decisions, not even slightly a team player. He must constantly listen to people telling him how great he is because his decline needs to be studied. BDCR was never a wonder kid. Nobody has ever thought Luke Thomas would change the world. But Abdul is SHOCKING. We were better at Stoke and Boro for not having him. He’s another Alejandro Garnacho - idiots on social media who use phrases like “celly” instead of celebration think he’s great because of the occasional worldie.

My only bright spot today was it was the first time my son (born in Wrexham) repeatedly referred to the team as “we” or “us”, meaning that he’s as hooked into them as me and the rest of my family.

Poor lad might not have a team to support soon.

Fatawu is getting away with utter tosh

i gave them all the praise for those 2 performances and the actual proof of trying over the last 7 days

but today was once again horrible - tbf Norwich were decent however that performance just took us back to square zero - Okoli , Thomas , skipp , winks , Mav , Fatawu , daka all absolutely horrible - I mean ming

made me feel a little sick and stilll does tonight- disgusting performance

Not sure if this has been said but there were a few times when it cut to Rudkin and top in the stands.

it looked very frosty and uneasy. Hopefully top grows a spine and holds Rudkin to account to the shower of shite that’s on the pitch

Agreed mate. The only defence is that they double on him but yep he’s been exceptionally poor

More chance of Top and Rudkin showering together than any of that happening.

BDCR did not look one bit bothered today, wasn’t showing for anything. Genuinely wonder what his specific instructions were.

His instruction was, look like you don't give a shit just plod around, theres a tenner in it for you
