Makes me laugh how Rudkin mentions taking us back to being a stable Premier League club, just shows their heads are so far up their arses - we might/likely won't even be a Championship club next season. Read the room, man.

Rudkin being promoted to a more senior role is probably the worst decision anyone has ever made at a football club in the history of the game.

I'm blown away.

To go from FC to DOF to CEO in 3 years in an organisation like ours is astonishing. When you couple that with Rudkin's rise without necessary experience, Monica's role despite such junior roles previous and right at the top an individual who inherited all of this despite perhaps not being ready for it and it's breathtaking. When you factor it against a backdrop of such shocking and swift decline, it's even more incredulous.

Top so badly needs experience and he's got absolutely zero. You don't strike lucky doing this, this has to be stopped. He has to sell up and should be in no uncertain terms told he is no longer wanted at this football club.

OUT

In other words we are f——d

Like many I'm about done with lcfc until we have new ownership but I had 1% belief he would ditch Rudkin and other idiots to get fans onside. But no. This is a slap in the face. We are a disgrace. I'll keep checking results but I can't pay money into this board of ***** pockets

The only thing he reads is his bank balance. He doesn’t care about the club

My one bit of optimism for this is that we don't actually, really know how much blame is on Davies.

For all we know he could have spent the last five years screaming in to the void in outrage at how much Rudkin was allowed to spend.

He could have budgeted for X and seen Top sign off on Y because Rudkin told him it was necessary. We've got no real idea how the club has been run, other than collectively it's been dreadful.

I'd 100% love a clean slate with Glover, Rudkin and Davies all replaced by people with a proven track record. Making up a tier of management just to give Rudkin a cushy job and keep him around for sentiment sakes is especially egregious.

But, eh, this is probably about the best we were getting with Top still here and at least Mccarron looks promising.

****ing all miserable though isn't it.

What we do know is that Davies heads up the department that filed the Companies House Confirmation Statement four months late this year. That in itself tells me everything I need to know about his ability

This line cracked me up... "Jon’s knowledge of the Club, its football culture and the wider football landscape is extensive".

So extensive that literally every deal goes through one agency because his little black book only has their phone number in it, and they can't get enough of him because he takes all the dross they can't shift off their hands and pays out a fortune for the privilege.

Says everything you need to know.

Serious question- which agency and which players? ...something ive been wanting to write about but cant find the evidence..

So the organisation changes, but the people stay the same. Isn't there a saying "An organisation is only as good as it's people"? Maybe someone should tell Top!

There is also a glaring omission of any mention of past mistakes or lessons learned.

And yet I'm still seeing comments on other platforms along the lines of "good news, lets hope the players react to this and start performing". I despair!

Is that Kevin Davies as bad as we might think?

Rob Dorset says he’s had a lot do to with the clearing of the decks and tightening of belts recently

And it was said that one of reasons we only got a 6pts deductions, because of the work he did over the last few years.

Even if he’s a good FD (up for debate), CEO is an entirely different role and somebody that was a financial controller 2 years ago is wholly under qualified for it. We need a track record here, not somebody that has done the bare minimum to impress.

Exactly this! This isn't Harchester United and Dream Team.... where you appoint the owners wife to run the club. This is real life. Top's been watching too much T.V. 🤣

This is all beyond parody. To try and sell this as some sort of good news story is treating the fanbase as idiots. I used to think that this “regime” was just incompetent but this has now shifted so far beyond that, that it looks like deliberate sabotage.

We still breached PSR again in 23/24 when he was here, which seemed a calculated gamble despite raising nearly £100m in transfer profit and on Enzo having gone for promotion with an eye watering wage bill including new signings on big wages such as Coady, Winks and Mavididi.
