Yep that's it. I think Daka was trying to make space for Skipp to go himself and wasn't expecting the pass.

The problem with that is Daka does stuff like this all the time. It looks selfless on paper but it's really just a symptom of his dreadful confidence these days. He almost looks like he's avoiding places he could score from.

Vards was a great team player but he'd never be making room so Oliver ****ing Skipp could shoot he'd be making the vertical run off the centre back's shoulder, demanding to be played in.

For sure. But it's Daka making space or Ayew just making us sick.

I think Skipp not shooting is also a confidence issue. He should parlay his better-than-most season into a bit of  responsibility.

Luke Thomas performance so far:

- Given ball away almost every time

- Beaten multiple times down the wing

- Pulled someone back after being rinsed and yellow carded

- Crossed ball ended up on the roof

Every Leicester manager - “best LB at the club 👍

Not a bad start, a couple of chances for us.

More to the point a big reduction in the defence's involvement

Oh I'm 100% on board with starting Daka.

I see him as our only actual option unless Rowett can build a shape around Mukasa at false nine which he almost certainly has no previous doing.

Daka could miss five sitters every game and still be better than Ayew.

Even when we're competing well and playing alright it still feels hopeless. We have no finishers in the squad and haven't bought one in about 10 years.

Seems inevitable that they'll take the lead after a valiant effort and a bunch of spurned chances.

Can Aluko play left back?

He can and has played there but primarily a RB. I was wondering if there was a natural LB in the academy - got to be better than Thomas who is our clearest weak link.
