The only logic I can see in tonight’s team selection is that Rowett is conscious of our tendency to drop off massively in the second half and has kept some of his best players on the bench in an attempt to prevent that.

That and the chance that Ayew might win a few free kicks as Bristol City tend to concede from set pieces.

That's what im hoping also. Just hope he gets the subs and the timing right. Daka for Ayew needs to happen as Dakas pace and running would cause them a problem on the counter. Mukasa for Reid would be another and Ricardo for Hamza with him being on a yellow.

Sums up the extreme tone deafness of the club that he's the VC! Shouldn't that role go to someone who can be a role model to others?

Exactly. Horrific decision.

They do look very focused like they realise how important it is, just a bit rigid at times through the anxiety of the situation, if you can’t relax that happens but hopefully that means no under hit back passes or silly decisions just solid functional motions with a bit of belief.

We've been here before, so unless we score 4 more and don't concede by 90+2,  confidence will not be high.  lol

Whatever happens, good to see James getting minutes in his legs and Skipp has been brilliant so far.

Hope Hamza can stay out of trouble.

Let's see, eh...

Do not stop. I just hope we can keep taking the game to them, sitting back will get us nowhere. All in all it’s a great first half, let’s kick on.

I really do genuinely believe that if we win tonight (especially if we keep a clean sheet), we will go on a run. The next 3-5 games are all very winnable.

If the real Leicester City turn up, we can beat anyone in this division, which makes are current position utterly perplexing

If Spurs get relegated and we stay up we should have a merger, their stadium with our training ground to make the greatest second tier club to ever get back to back to back to back relegations.

Imagine the scenes when we bottle a 9-0 lead in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Final and lose 9-10.

I just wish they'd decide Jordan Ayew's PIP claim so he can resume moving in public.

He'll qualify for a Motability car.

I really hope this isn’t a carbon copy of the game at Ashton Gate earlier in the season. 2-0 up at half time and looking comfortable only to throw away the two goal lead in the 2nd half. Really hope we don’t sit back for the entirety of this half.

If we don't win this we're toast.

How times have changed that we are so nervous with a 2-0 lead going into the break. We need to get past this fragile mentality and take the game to them, kill them off.

Hahahaha that was hilarious - Fatawu reaching out to Stol and Stol thinking he wanted a fist pump and obliged but Abdul wanted a bit of his vaseline out of his tub 😂
