He's just had 8 weeks off and will probably have a similar number of weeks off in a month and a couple of months time btw.

Yeah and he’s walked straight into this high-pressured shit show. He’s had two days off, which, people are entitled to regardless of their profession and made the most of it, that isn’t a hanging offence. If he hadn’t have posted where he was, he still would’ve had two days off, we just wouldn’t have known about it.

It’s not that deep.

I'd expect the manager to have used this opportunity to work on ensuring we give ourselves the best chance possible to win the next two games over the Easter weekend.

Given he's barely had any time with the squad (granted a small handful are away on internationals) I would have thought he'd use that opportunity to his advantage and not to spend it on holiday so soon after a huge break.

That is all.

You can expect and think all you like but it's pretty clear you're on your own with this one

He's taken us from 14th to 22nd btw... WARRA manager! Miss me with that clean sheet nonsense. It's like talking to an NPC, we haven't improved, he's got the 2nd worst PPG of our last 5 managers and if anything we look more toothless upfront!

Were we 14th when he came in? Genuienly. Can’t remember.

Also I didn’t say he was a great manager or anything like that, why do people seem to drop to sarcasm on here so much. You said he hasn’t had much of an impact but two clean sheets must be an impact given we couldn’t keep them at all.

Appointing Rowett was always going to be defensively minded first, I don’t think anybody expected us to be free flowing. Don’t have a clue what PPG is. All I know is he walked into a mess and has had to play against some of the best teams in the division so far. QPR, granted, was ridiculously poor and only the game I was angry with during Rowett’s small time here.

I still believe he will keep us up, even if you laugh at it.

Look how far the bar has fallen for us, good grief

I mean, I agree with you, but I have nothing else to cling too.

The odd attitude to Rowett from some reminds me of the people that didn't like Pearson. Obviously it's not the same level but it's a similar vibe. He's come into an absolutely shit show, a team absolutely on the floor and managed to get improvements.

Not sure if people were expecting us to go from constantly conceding and losing to picking up 2 points a game, if you were then that explains it. He's arrested an absolutely horrific slide and there's evidently some improvements made in the performances.

I can only assume the people talking him down didn't like the idea of hiring him, so choosing to stay on that hill.

I’m more concerned that he’s gone to Lisbon and had a coffee at the Copenhagen Coffee Lab, did he forget where he is? Or just doesn’t like to support the local 😉

Some still can't fathom in their tiny little minds that the issues we have at this club run a whole lot deeper than the bloke who stands in the dugout. No offence meant to him but it's depressing in itself that we're even talking about Rowett as Leicester boss but it's a clear indicator of just how far we've fallen under the ineptitude of Top

Why did he feel the need to post on SM. It just draws attention to the trip. If he hadn’t posted then chances are we would be aware that he wasn’t around. It’s not really the fact that he has taken the break, but by posting it has opened himself to the criticism and makes him appear has if he isn’t putting the hard work in and taking this seriously.

Most sensible people would read the mood of the room and think that posting at this time may not be the most intelligent thing to do.
Take the trip, take the photos just don’t post them at this point in time. Save all the posting s and communications to show the hardworking that “is or maybe” going on.

Cheers, I did think we weren't as high as 14th. Plus with the points deduction, it was strange to suggest he has taken us from 14th to our current position.

1 win from 7 is problematic but I like GR and his tracksuit style of management. Speaks well, seems to care and for the most part has us playing much more competitively, particularly away from home. Unfortunately we have a squad with error prone players that continue to cost us points. If Daka converts those chances at Watford Foxestalk would be a far more positive place...

Pivotal weekend ahead. No one will begrudge him a mini break if we win the next two.

Yeah I got that wrong about league position, we were 14th I believe when Marti got sacked and King's interim reign slipped my mind so will hold my hands up.

In relation to other comments made since about Rowatt not being the problem, I've stated that myself but I dont believe he's made much of a difference, certainly not in results or league position so forgive me for not buying into him being the saviour.

Hope Gary enjoyed Lisbon. He can enjoy more time there after he's kept us up too.

He can go much further than Lisbon after the season finishes. He’ll have all the actually close season and a good couple of weeks into when pre-season before Aiyawatt and Rudkin make any decisions about who the manager for next season is. Subject to the situation with flights by then, definitely time for full tour of Australia and New Zealand I’d say!

Wayne Rooney slept on the couch at the training ground.

Famously, his total commitment paid off, every managerial job he did was a resounding success, Birmingham City got promoted and are now in Europe with Rooney still at the helm...

What a messy comparison.

Gary Rowett is no Wayne Rooney and we pale in comparison to Birmingham City.

So, in essence it's mimimi because the manager's gone off to Lisbon for a whopping weekend.

Wonder that the players were up to during the break... Ahem. Surely all model professionals...

Fair play, got himself in a right corner but still defending well.

Wish our back four was this apt.

FYI I do ABSOLUTELY laugh at this. Utter delusion thinking we'll stay up! Manager shit, team abhorrent. Every other team around us picking up wins.
