knows he wont be here next season, survive or drop?

What can he do over an international break?

Cant buy or sell, cant transform this awful squad into an outfit ready to fight their way out of danger.

I think a man with his responsibilities and pay should be able to go 1 month and a half without sunning himself. Especially when he's in charge of a team that is massively underperforming.

He's not some admin-level office worker that should just clock off at 5pm and forget about work when he's not there. He's taken a job with the remit of keeping us in this division and he should be spending every hour he can to ensure we do so.

We've got very few players away with their countries. I'd expect them to have been working hard this last week. The big holiday comes when we're sure we're not going down.

Taking time off when he's had very little time on the training ground and we've got arguably our two biggest games since our relegation in 2022/23 and he's just come off the back of 8 weeks between jobs is ridiculous to be honest and wouldn't be accepted at a serious club.

It is accepted across the football world. People know when international breaks are and organise their leave and holidays around them. As I say, you're wrong.

If he'd been in charge all season i'd almost agree with you. He's just taken the job.

Taken the other half away for a couple of days isn’t going to change our season. That’s been in the making all season.

Bloody hell. Gary Rowett is not the problem!

I blame Lisbon, silly irresistible weekend getaway with its custard tarts and its architecture and historic tram. Bastard city.

Anyone else noticed the pattern of looking like we've done absolutely nothing to address the issues on the pitch after an international break?

You'd think the club would be working around the clock to address our frailties, but we often look even more inept than before!

Hope I'm wrong this time and Rowett has devised a cunning plan?

Why are you even suprised?

Rowett is just another Baldrick.

Just waiting for the bit where he sets off fire extinguishers over lady boys, racially offends the locals and gets accused of sexual assault

I guess Lisbon’s changed a bit, then?

When we go down, it won't be because Rowett had a weekend away during an international break.

I get it though.  People are missing their weekly spleen venting.  So am I.  Don't worry, the weekend will be here soon.

I just feel this another PR own goal which the club loves to concede, whilst the club stares into the oblivion in the WORST we've ever been you'd think the communication director and PR team would make sure all messaging coming out the club makes them seem to be working as hard as they can and determined to put things right rather than having your feet up abroad with your mrs, not being funny Im not accepting this argument that he deserves time off like he's some key worker who's been bang at it with little pay and down time - Rowett and the team earn tens of thousands and are only at Seagrave what 3/4 days a week, he should get his break IF he keeps us up, reminds me of after Sheff Utd at home I think it was when we got absolutely battered and after the game Fatawu when to some fashion event - completely out of touch

Maybe it’s just because it’s the international break, cope on my behalf or simply just a glimpse into my mental state at the moment but since the QPR game I have thrown the towel in.

I simply can’t be arsed to pay any attention to anything Leicester related. Didn’t even have a glimpse at the financial stuff that was released the other day.

Is it possible to have burnout from a football club lol because that feels like what I’ve got

Literally says “weekend in Lisbon” you know the time of the week the rest of us get off work? We don’t train at weekends do we, we either play a game or have a number of players on international duty.

They'll have been in during the week before as normal and likely back in tomorrow before the rest of those who are away filter back from Wednesday onwards.

I get you and @AKCJ mixed up all the time.

Sort it out!
