It’s 85% in your first year down, not 60%.

Championship clubs are voting tomorrow on whether to switch to the squad cost ratio. If it goes through, there will be no return to PSR even if we go straight back up.

There is a vote at the EFL today alongside that Championship vote which could significantly change even that %.

Owners of EFL 1 clubs want greater alignment with the EFL 2 rules and that would mean the 60% reduced to 50% . I haven’t seen anything re when it would be introduced , that’s if the 75% of clubs agree, or indeed what the first year transitional % , if any would be.

edit. It is claimed that the squad reduced % will apply from next season.

So won't be Dick Schreuder - must admit a bit of me was hoping he wouldn't get CL if it was a genuine link but we should back the underdog, what an achievement to get NEC to the Champions League.

Saw Albert Riera has been let go from Eintracht Frankfurt, he would be incredible for the press conferences alone!

Give it to Filbert the Fox, with Cousin Dennis as assistant and Vicky Vixen as first team coach. They possibly can't do a worse job than some of the others that are on the list 😂😂

With what experience?

He’s not managed, nor shown any real interest in doing so. He’d cost a fortune in wages and then in compensation when we inevitably sack him after eight games. It would be a complete disaster.

Actually I’ve talked myself into it—gerrimin.

Might as well just close this thread until half way through pre-season.

Whoever the manager is, if they don’t have their full support of coaches and our fitness coach (if you can call him that) is still here, we’re cooked.

Cool, I think this guy will save us...knows the club, played for us and was a striker (ish)

Would never have come here in the first place.

Even if NEC had missed out on CL qualifiers, they'd have finished 4th or 5th, which means Europa League or Conference League (qualifiers).

No one in their right mind would want to swap that for League One football.

Nearly a month since relegation. Still not a word on Rowett's position. Laughable but normal process. The decline continues.

Genuinely wouldn't surprise me if the club thought it would be a good idea to announce someone like Darren Ferguson in front of 40 fans at this upcoming charity game.

I might be wrong but Gary Rowetts contract does not finish until the end of June so surely they won’t bring anyone else in until that expires.

They are not going to sack him with six weeks to go and no point putting him on garden leave and paying two managers wages
