Jason Tindall Paddy McCarthy Tommy Elphick McCarthy has previous experience with us as a player and has worked with the palace youth set up. Tindall is assistant at Newcastle and although Howe hasn’t said he’s going maybe Tindall would be tempted. He has previously managed Bournemouth for a short period. Elphick is assistant at Bournemouth and is one of the favourites for the Bristol City job.

JimJams Posted 20 May Posted 20 May Will Still is talking to Auxerre. So maybe he's out of the equation if he was ever in it.
FoxKent_88 Posted 20 May Posted 20 May Mark Robins may soon part company with Stoke according to some sources. Should be high on any shortlist I would have thought? And as for the Southampton manager, reputation tarnished maybe. But his success with that team can't all be attributed to an analyst with an iphone. Who says no? 1

Given the stringent rules in League One, I have to question decision making if we were to employ a manager on the wages Robins would likely command.

Isn’t Robins supposed to be far less impressive when he’s not being assisted by Adi Viveash, with whom he had a major falling out and is therefore very unlikely to reunite with? Potentially yes, but even if he was still pretty nifty without i'd be very careful at paying the wages he'd command. 2

It was Carsley yesterday who was meant to be a done deal. I'd just like us to get linked with one manager. Any manager would do. Ideally before August. 1

Jesus if we can’t afford mark robins wages who the hell are we getting in as gaffer ? You really reckon robins is on decent money at Stoke - surely not - he hasn’t ever done anything at all at any level with anyone

indierich06 Posted 21 May Posted 21 May I think there will be plenty of Championship clubs interested in him, but if Eckert gets the boot over the spygate stuff, we should definitely move heaven and earth to try and get him. Also hearing Robins is on the verge of being sacked? Again, I'm sure there'll be Championship interest, and I'm not certain if he'd actually want to drop down to League 1. But surely you have to ask the question?
Samilktray Posted 21 May Posted 21 May Get that Southampton manager and his team in as soon as they get the sack I say, we need that win at all costs mentality 1
teblin Posted 21 May Posted 21 May Robins, not sure about to be honest. Other than Cov and his 1st job at Rotherham his record is sketchy isn't it?
