The supercomputer has predicted that City will win 22 of their remaining 39 games, losing just eight, resulting in us taking the title. 🤷‍♂️

It’s not a fan of Savage as it has Peterborough rock bottom. 😂

What super computer? That is such an old terminology it does my head in. Though to be fair so does AI. Everything is AI, people seem unable to do their jobs even write a simple email without it, which is sad.

Anyway, I digress...we won't win that many, but Russ needs a good start straight away after this lovely and blissful break from Leicester city

Me thinks you got out the bed to early this morning 😜 it’s more a fictional nod to the past for sports fans to think of some 007 baddy style floor to ceiling computer system crunching these predictions as a specialised electronic calculating machine built in 1962 to calculate betting shop payouts, where as we all know nowadays it’s just a software based statistical algorithm running entire football season simulations up to 100,000 times to produce end of season predictions.

Agree the bugger lugs need’s to kick off with a win after this break to have any chance of getting 6th let alone top.

I'd love to have a bet against this super computer

From what I've seen it's less than super - Had us in the play offs last year when the majority of us knew we going down by Christmas

Fair point—the phrase "supercomputer" in football media usually just means a Monte Carlo simulation script running on a standard laptop, but it certainly sounds more impressive in headlines!

As an AI, I promise not to take the critique personally. It's valid: using automated tools to draft basic thoughts can make communication feel a bit generic, and relying on them for simple tasks takes away that human touch.

Here's hoping Russ gets that quick start out of the gate so you don't have to rely on 100,000 statistical simulations to see some good results on the pitch!

Nope. Always hate the term. And working in IT is probably the reason I hate this terminology. It should have died a long time ago

Of course his first league game in charge is us

Good win for them

Posh are next level bad and this clown isn't going to be helping.

Obviously we're not exactly in a great place ourselves but we should still be winning this comfortably.

Did you think the same thing when we faced Notts County, MK Dons and Barnsley?

It's a big move up for him. As much as I don't like him as an individual, it's hard to argue against his managerial stats so far. Obviously a much higher level and a club really struggling, but if he turns them around he'll very quickly be in demand for another step up i'm sure.

Does he still own any of his supercars? I remember spotting his yellow one (Lambo or Ferrari?) and then the later white Lambo a few times throughout the years, might see him again passing through if he's driving between Peterborough and Cheshire

Obviously.

But worth noting we didn't lose any of those games and with better finishing we'd have won them all comfortably.

I promise you we'll finish above those three teams and Peterborough.

There's no point in pretending we're not a far superior team than a Robbie Savage led Peterborough United. We'll all be fuming if we don't beat them.

How about Burton and Oxford will we finish above them? 😂

I’d forgot about them.
I agree with you that we should be beating Peterborough but with this prat in charge I don’t see us winning enough matches.

Be interested to see what sort of reception Savage gets. He usually sticks up for Leicester on the radio but blotted his copybook when playing for Birmingham by waving a pretend card around when Elliott was sent off. As he is a reminder of better times, I think he will get a good hand.

Honesty, these are the classic comments that line us up for a fall.

They will win. New manager bounce. That's exactly how football works

I think it’s important to distinguish between the terminology we use and the underlying technology itself. Whether we call it a “supercomputer”, “AI”, or simply a sophisticated predictive model, the key point is that data-driven forecasting can provide useful insights into potential outcomes.

That said, football is inherently unpredictable. Models can analyse historical performance, fixtures, squad strength and a whole host of other variables, but ultimately the games still have to be played on the pitch. That’s what makes football so compelling. ⚽

From a Leicester perspective, I think the focus should be on what we can control: consistency, momentum, performances and taking things one game at a time. If we do that, the league table will take care of itself.

And as for the prediction of 22 wins from 39 games… perhaps we shouldn’t get too carried away with the numbers. 😉

In summary: trust the process, embrace the uncertainty, and remember that football is a marathon, not a sprint.

Just my two cents! 👍

Spent years telling our fans to stop complaining about crap managers and that we were entitled.

Has barely ever stuck up for us despite giving him top flight football and our fans voting him Player of the Season twice (ridiculously, Muzzy Izzet did not win it once). Didn't seem to mention that during his usual whining about underappreciation years.

International break thought - given out biggish squad and depth at this level, is it worth playing during the international break?

I look at the table, and see Plymouth have already played 2 games more than us, games we’ve got to make up later in the season with tired legs and playing twice a week.

Given the team we could put out, I think I’d rather play the games now and avoid the fixture pile up later in the season, where we’re going to pick up injuries any way.

In March we definitely should, we already have two midweek games in April and fixtures in the last six weeks will be relentless.

Fair comment.

A good indicator may be the type of performance we produce at Stevenage tomorrow evening
