Leicestershire live have mentioned in their latest article we haven’t moved for Adebayo at all. So he’s signed, been offered a contract and we are not interested all at once, which I could believe with our boardroom

Anyone else concerned we appear to have done next to nothing to improve the defence? It is a big reason why we went down, we scored as many as teams in the top half, but were shocking at the back… one of the worst defences in the country. It looks like we could potentially lineup with many of the same players back there still.
 

Screening in front of the backline looks similar as well.

We're well-covered in both full back positions. At centre half, we currently have Souttar, Faes, NOT VESTERGAARD (AHEM), Okoli and (a possibky crocked) Nelson on the books, with Aluko, Wilson-Brown and Gray as back up. I can't see us getting any new defenders in until some go out.

Wilson Brown and Gray barely got a sniff all preseason. 
 

Please don’t say we have Vestergaard, even for a laugh.

The weird thing is, as I was writing it I was genuinely saying to myself, "Don't write Vestergaard—he's gone.". And then I went and wrote Vestergaard...

We will need players to leave first. We can't sign a bunch of CB's expecting Okoli/Souttar etc to go and they don't. We cant afford those sort of wages.

Can’t see us signing centre backs or defensive mids until they leave - we can’t carry the wages of them and new signings

 

Maybe other than a young one on loan

Mavididi and BDCR to leave and it makes sense, especially with alves struggling to maintain fitness for a full season. 
 

send Carr on loan to league 2 side for experience.

Could well be his agent trying to set up a bidding war to get his client a move or entice someone to pay a higher fee to help Boreham Wood more.
