@BlueTintedLCFC

Leicester City are a target for an investment bid by a local consortium. They want to buy the stadium, training ground and invest in the playing squad Early stage but it’s moving fast. (

I'll believe it when I see it.

Top won't sell unless he receives a crazy offer, which local consortium could offer that kind of capital?

Walkers, PepsiCo, CAT?

Outside investment maybe but can't see a takeover yet imo.

I doubt it would be some big conglomerate more a collection of rich interested people.

I’ve been giving it some thought and I’ve started to wonder whether my scathing dismissal of any story from Alan Nixon over the years has perhaps been a little harsh. Maybe I’ve been unfair. Yes, come to think of it, I’m starting to realise that he’s the most well-connected and reliable football journalist there is…

Ha ha yes. It’s true because I so desperately want it to be. lol

I might be wrong but I know he’s not the most reliable source but hasn’t he called quite a few things right for us over the last few years?

Ayew, one of the managers and a couple of other things.

It'll take a lot to crowbar the club from Top and I don't see why anyone would invest without getting a controlling stake.

Maybe he wants to keep a little stake in the club, but has realised he can’t take it further.

trying to think positively I know I’m being naive.

Anybody sane wouldn’t take up a minority ownership position up with a liability like Top involved. Taking on a hell of a lot of risk for what reward?

I wonder if the promotions of certain individuals inside the club was an indicator of Top's openness to a sale. Position his mates in more senior roles so that when a sale is concluded and the inevitable boardroom changes occur they depart with nice big pay offs. His way of looking after those who are close to him.
