Not much left

It could make us a lot worse though.

If you ignore that the ground is on hire purchase from King Power Holdings, you’d have:

Stadium

Training ground

Additional Land purchased

Academy players

Offloading first team players

Maintenance at a minimal until stuff is sold etc

It could be the pits and turn into a Sheffield Wednesday situation.

Im not sure how somebody owning all our assets...is good, if you want to buy the club buy it fully,

When you buy assets like stadiums and training facilities, its a money grab, you know the club need a cash injection, so you buy assets and then hold them to ransom,

I dont see anything positive coming from this, and stinks of bad business acumen "AGAIN"

Realistic view is it’s additional investment from an outside financier.

King Power Holdings already own the stadium. The club have that on a hire purchase agreement, so we are efficiently paying rent to use it.

Of they did the same with the training ground and sold it for “x” millions, that would give the club / king power a cash injection but then they’d be paying rent to use it. Depends on what the book value of Seagrave is Vs the fair market assessment. I’m not entirely sure if this is even permissible under the new finance laws now.

Knowing our looking, the Leicestershire based property companies looking to invest is King Power Holdings.

I'd suggest that's exactly what KP are already doing.

The tactic years ago to uncouple the club from any physical assets, was, in business terms, pretty shrewd.

Completely agree with this.

This is the next stage of the payday loan scenario unless the buyers plan to buy the whole club. Banks won’t lend us the money, Top doesn’t want to reach into his own pockets to resolve the situation, he’s been removed from the top job in KP so he can’t sanction them giving us the money, they probably don’t have the money, so he’s selling off our 2 main assets as the only way to keep the club afloat for the next year or so.

What happens when we’ve burnt through that money as we aren’t back in the Premier League? If we get back to the Premier League, how much does it cost us further down the line to buy these assets back? As far as club value,  how much is a debt ridden club in league 1 worth that doesn’t own its stadium or training ground? Spoiler, that last one is **** all.

It’s only shrewd if the proceeds go into genuine investment in rebuilding the club, this will end up just being to service debts unless we get the squad rebuild right.

So what is the value of the Club now in League 1?   Suspect our Debt ratio is higher than any new perceived value, so are we technically going into administration?  Rudkin has done a good number on us all.

The club is effectively trading whilst insolvent, but as long as the directors continue to sign off the accounts, and the cashflow to meet the day to day bills is somehow found, then nothing will change.

The crunch comes when the debts aren't payed, which unless we see outside investment, or Top puts his mitt in his pocket, will happen soon.

The only example I can think of that's similar is Coventry. It's not been disclosed how much was paid for the actual club. The stadium cost around 50 million, leaving Ashley (how paid around 15 million for it out of administration with a nice 30 million profit). But he'd have cleared the debts of around 60 million and then some more cash to recapitalise it. But our debt is way higher. So while there's a lot of talk of a takeover, I am genuinely struggling to think why we would be attractive on a buyout, or why any one would want to invest money in at this point. Unless the ground is part of the package, it would be madness to invest in. So I can only think that it must be a package deal to have any legs.

The more I think about this, the more I think it’s actually the only option and the final gamble and I guess the issue isn’t doing this, it’s the actions that have led to this being the only way to raise the money we need. Grim.

I personally don't believe this is true or real. Nothing will ever change until we've been in administration.

Sounds to me like a Top Rudkin scam.

It's the usual bollox to deflect from the truth.

The sooner these two ****s have gone I can believe in my club again.

Other than day date and time I believe fvck all about our club atm.

Aren’t they restricted by PSR and can’t go on a limitless spending spree?

If they could, they’d blow everyone out of the water as they’re basically backed by Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia look like they're taking a step back somewhat from their sportswashing policy. They claim the war in Iran has forced them to reevaluate their priorities. I did think when they took over Newcastle it was only a matter of time before they won something. But they don't seem mega bothered.

Well it will be the auditors too - and they have to be convinced it’s a going concern

We have to be the most self deprecating fan base in world football. We're the 6th most successful club in the country this century ffs and people go on like we're Burton Albion.

Well we're in the same league with possibly  a worst team .
