I detest the ITV coverage of any sport. Sadly it's going the way of commercial TV. They have the weight and money of serious sponsors. Just like the USA.

I used to quite liked watching Superbowl games, but now I get really irritated with the constant interruptions for adverts, and the half time "entertainment" and for me, it makes it unwatchable.

Even Wimbledon tennis is going that way. I guess that's what some people will say is inevitable. It's to the detriment of any sport  in general for those watching. We already complain about corruption in sport. That has to start somewhere and it starts with money...

I think every tournament I've ever watched has had the team that started slowly but came alive and the team that everyone said would win it after their first match and then ran out of steam. 

 

France have been very good but it's very early in the tournament yet.

Kane is the better all round striker for me. Mbappe is world class at what he does, running in behind and finishing, but he can't play back to goal and doesn't do a lot for the team. Would rather Kane
