Good win for Korea.

Son could have had a couple himself .

2-1 flattered the Czechs by the looks of it .

Better teams will take advantage of the weakness from set pieces, but Korea do look good going forward.

If we keep up this ratio of red cards we’ll be on 312 for the tournament.

Last night reminded me of Kevin Keegan in the 1998 World Cup likening the card happy referee's top pocket to a 'pop up toaster'.

Mexico and South Africa were both horrendous. A League 2 level game.

I know Mexico have a great record at the Azteca but if it is England's fate to play them there, we should have absolutely no issues.

Only thing that'll **** you up in this tournament is the conditions.

Altitude, temperature, number of games your players have played this season, general fatigue.

Gary Neville made this point and for once wasn't talking nonsense. Very control orientated styles might not be the most exciting football to watch but they're good in demanding conditions. When it's hot and tiring you don't want to be the team chasing the ball.

I don't see Mexico having enough to keep the ball away from England but the top teams will be a concern if England's game plan is about pressing and countering.

Will be watching some proper degen kick off times games but I was ruled out of this one unfortunately. And it's annoying as by all accounts it was everything the World Cup should be - total contrast in styles and fun game.
