I remember as a kid seeing a picture of Cape Verde playing in a qualifier for the 2002 World Cup and thinking how cool it was that some tiny nation was trying to qualify for something that they will never make, a bit like Loughborough Dynamo trying to make it to the 3rd round of the FA Cup. Seeing them play in the World Cup proper will be a weirdly proud moment, despite having no connection to the place.

lunch time kick off isn't too bad. Actually a better slot on the east coast than that 2-5am run (9pm to midnight in EST)

Verde could shock the World here if they get half a chance and be calm.
