I don’t know enough about the league anymore but would be curious to know if there’s been many weaker seasons than last

They signed 18 players. All but a different team entirely to the one we played.

I think the style helps too. Hull play pragmatic, strong defence etc. Then Coventry are trying to play Lampards pure football, it was quite effective in the Championship but not good enough at this level. Still hilarious either way.

I think Hull (so far) and Sunderland last season definitely benefitted from directness and having an air of chaos and unpredicability to them going forward.

Hull at the KM earlier in the season tore us to shreds, really good movement with precise passing and timing for one of their goals made us look like absolute mugs (this was pre-December collapse).

 

Signings have been great for them, kinda like Sunderland 25/26 again.
