Pearson is the yard stick we have to compare him too, for him to be credible long term, we have to win the league one by a big margin, but for some reason I  dont think we will, his record includes lots of goal conceeded as does our for the last two seasons that plus his style of play aint going to work in league one, we will be there to shot down.

i feel like for the last three seasons ive been a constant doom merchant hopefully this time im wrong 😊

I'm feeling sorry for the Foxes fans if they have to watch the same style of football as Rangers fans had to watch at the start of last season under Russell Martin. He is not attack minded and plays negative football. He didn't seem fazed whether the team won or not and was very defensive minded.

Ffs.
Was in charge for 17 games at Rangers before they realized how shit he was.
Based on that I reckon with these clowns he’ll do at least 30 matches in charge.

I'm a Rangers season ticket holder...and if we hadn't got rid of him I was giving it up..... totally clueless.

Why do people keep saying this his best finish in league 1 was 13th with a team that got promoted immediately after he left. He has had 1 half successful season ever where he failed to get southampton automatic promotion every other season he has managed has been a complete disaster what about any of that makes people think he will be alright for league 1?

Got to be given the chance, it’s done now. Hopefully it works out.

MK Dons didn’t get promoted after he left. They lost in the play offs then the following season were relegated. He joined MK Dons as a newly promoted team, mid season, made them mid table then left. He obviously did alright there considering next season is MK Dons first season back in the third tier.

I don’t want Martin but, from the outside, he did fine at MK Dons.

If Martin fails this season, this would be the most embarrassing appointment in our history.

The only upside to that is that for many be is already the most embarrassing appointment in our history.

If it does fail you can guarantee the like of @RedSoxUK will be telling us he just needed 7 years to implement his style in order to beat *checks notes* Mansfield and Notts County.

Wonder what he thinks of the striker options

Best thing the club could do for him is not signing any before his first game. If he started hutchinson or Evan’s and it went well… fans would open up almost at an instant.

No I’m not comparing us.

I honestly think Rudkin is trolling the fans at this point. Was a tough decision not renewing but so glad I didn't now. I won't go back until King power have gone!

He has an appalling record defensively as well.

@Ric Flair's sources were are reliable as his scout report on Tete then?

Hahahaaa the person this came from as well has floored me. Their explanation is at the time it was reported he'd had talks/agreed we hadn't even spoken to him. I think they got it wrong to be honest, Brussell has been the unwavering first choice at every opportunity since May 2023.

Yeah, Top met him before the 5000-1 game.

it was inevitable he’d be our manager, just because of Tops hard on for him.

maybe he had pictures of RMs wife on the wall as a kid

We’ll probably announce him 3 games into the season after he’s already been here for two months.
