Was an enjoyable tournament football wise generally and a deserved winner .

We all know how much football is a money making ego trip of a business now and so much off the field  is nonsense but the crowds turned up .

Officials on the pitch did well mainly but always  going to get controversy particularly with the subjective nature of VAR.

They will say the World Cup is a global game as an excuse to increased numbers and make more money for themselves.

Pep in talk with Italy.

Sack Tuchel and get him.

Italy are going to miss out on 3 successive world cups and still win more than one trophy in the same amount of time Kane plays for England

Does this make Spain the first country to defend the world cup as hosts in 2030?

Yes. I didn't Google it. Honestly.

Almost 3,000 websites have been blocked or seized for illegally streaming World Cup matches, the US Department of Justice (DOJ) has said.

More than 1,000 domains were shut down in the US alone during the tournament, with a similar number blocked in Colombia.

Enforcement agencies in America and across South America carried out the action under investigations named "operation offsides" and "operation red card".

I think so in the Uk all major (5?) finals have to be free to air law of the land by government

He's not wrong but it's a bit rich calling out FIFA for cash grabs as head of La Liga

Was gonna say isn't this the geezer that has taken La Liga over to America?
