Would have been nice to get one of these attacking signings over the line before tonight, surely we could have them both in as trialists even if the paperwork/medicals aren't finished?

Wow that is an insane wage for a player who has never been a mainstay starter for us and yet he will be one of the highest paid players in the league, how can anyone defend that or not question what a complete mismanagement of our finances this demonstrates.

I hoping the relative silence and lack of training coverage over the past two days, has a lot to do with 'not wanting to show newbees' on camera, and not just travelling to Bristol

Hopefully in the next couple of hours there is a flurry of activity, with news of some new peeps travelling to play

Aye, like I say there's no reason they can't be trialists even if not everything is signed off.

I imagine 50k was his premier league salary. So assuming a 30/40% reduction per relegation, he is likely on around 20/25k per week now. Which is still a ridiculous salary in L1. Hence why we need to try and shift as many higher earners as possible

He was on 60K p/w in the PL

Probably on about £25k-ish now then, and that would be after being on the lower end of the % reduction, could be on even less if he ended up one of the players on a 45-50% reduction

Yeah and to think he would get 3-5K appearance bonus too

We are in Randers for our 2nd of two Denmarkian friendlies.

It's probably the biggest match going today!

One of our best away ends that was and there was about 900 of us there. Always have a soft spot for Randers. How do you think your shaping up for the new season, squad, expectations etc? Before you hammer us first game.

Their stadium looks very nice.

We are definitely going low budget. Don't even have any word of new kits yet.

Our biggest signing was Cal Roberts, who had been with us previously and was at S****horpe last season.

We have only one goal and that is survival and that might be asking a lot lol

Jealous, especially as I didn't make it when we played them.

Having said that, enjoying a reasonably priced pint in Bristol so can't complain.

On the plus side. Choudhury is on the pitch and hasn’t been chosen as captain…. lol

Faes Captain!

I knew it that we was due some strange decision making after shifting Victor and was looking like that we would sell Winks too.

Classic Leicester.
