I don't think he will play much at Swansea I can see us getting him on loan next season with a opinion to buy and it will be a lot less than what they paid for him.

Good move for him to a relatively stable environment without too much pressure on around must go up or must stay up.

 

Will also have to live away from home for the first time ever. That will be as much a learning curve for him as anything on the pitch.

 

I think he’ll do well without pulling up any trees. Exactly what you’d expect from a very young lad with a lot of talent going into a men’s side.

Just seems such a shame that our sale to Man. City couldn't have included an immediate loan back to us for a season. He'd probably have got more game time than hw'll get at Swansea as well.

whilst I wish Jezza all the best, I genuinely believe our generational talent will prove to be Page, who in deference to your point will soon be lining up on loan for a Championship team

Really good move for him. Interestingly Swansea have joined up with this player recruitment firm this summer, linked to Tony Bloom, I did wonder if they would have a bit of an uptick. Early signs are good as well.

Honestly, he's so young that being a supporting figure off the bench for a mid table Championship club without a toxic atmosphere isn't bad experience for him. 

 

He shouldn't be rushing to play too much senior football right now. We only pushed for it because we were desperate and because as fans we were scared he'd leave. 

 

Now that he's got his big move, unless he's an absolute, massive entitled idiot, he'll be quite happy to just relax now and work on his game when the opportunity arises.

I imagine he and his agent made sure one of the stipulations of him signing was he was never sent back here under any circumstances.

There is little point to have a developmental loan in our position. I still dont think Monga as he currently is, is a match winner in L1. He new loan will all be about experience and development.
