They'll loan him out, won't they?

Think they just signed and loan out Pierce Charles to QPR...what a depressing thought if Monga goes there

Prediction, Monga makes the euro 28 england squad dislodging Noni Madueke. Tuchel will like him because he's excellent in 1v1 situations, final product will be elite and he has pace to run beyond. Because he can play both sides, Tuchel will love the flexibility in case Gordon and Rashford get injured. I also believe he will have an impact at Man City this season, especially in cup competitions.

What has Monga shown so far that would have him above other young English talents like Dowman and Rio?

Hes going to be in for a rude awakening.

Won't get away with strolling around the pitch, shorts half way down his arse, thinking hes Messi.

Good luck to him, some direction, discipline & coaching is exactly what he needs.

Maresca has done more for this club than most over the past 4-5 years.

Taking us straight back up first time around, basically giving us a chance to get us out of the mess Rodgers/Rudkin etc put us in.

Giving us a relatively generous £35m for KDH, who had never really done anything in the Prem at the time. He then never played him at Chelsea.

£10m for Monga isn’t a bad deal for us if there’s a sell in clause or appearance based fee. It saves us messing around negotiating fees etc.

obviously, he’s not doing it purely out the goodness of his heart, but they’ll be other players he could have taken a punt on. And let’s not forget, Monga hasn’t proved anything so far.

Cheers Enzo!

Fatawu must be worth £20m + if Monga is £10m. Based on his highlight reel alone a Turkish side would lump on him. Halfway line goals, cut in and hit the top corner, beating his man inside and outside.

With the right manager and team he will thrive massively...

Well, it better be £10m up front, plus add-ons (sell-on clause).

And that we use that money to invest wisely.

Shame to see a young academy player go, but it seemed as if his career here has come to an abrupt halt, anyway. Months ago.

All the best at ManCity.

He’s rightly talked about Man City with glowing terms as he joins them (ignoring the 115 charges obvs😉but I’ve not seen a quote yet thanking the club he’s been at since he was 9. Have I just missed it?

Seems like a reasonable deal. Do not think we could expect much more, with the situation we find ourselves in.

All the best to Monga.

…..You could say the same about 90% of our squad, after the past couple of seasons, tbf.

Comparing him to Ngumoha and Dowman doesn’t really make any sense because they both play for elite teams and he’s been suffocated by Leicester city football club now of league one.

I think he’ll be an England international by the time he’s 21

I think he'll be at his 7th loan club by the times he's 21.

Joking aside though, he's clearly a great player, and i hope they make him, don't break him.

Madueke and rashford won’t be in the euro 28 squad unless saka and Gordon are injured

Dowman and ngumoha will be the back ups in two years. Monga has a lot of work to do to get ahead  of those two.

I think he's a bit of an outlier though in that he's already played 30+ league games at his age. Staying there or leaving on loan both have obvious merits, mind

He has but at the club he’s been since he was 9, going out on loan at his age to a second completely new environment whilst not an adult yet is a tumultuous time. I think they’ll want a look at him in their own set up first and maybe then loan him out in Jan, when he’ll be about 17 and a half.
