We lost control of the game when Chaplin and Cullen came on. Chaplin had none of the dynamism that Braybrooke had showed. He stayed up the pitch, didn’t really track back and his use of the ball was non existent. Looked way off it tbh. Hopefully he’ll get up to speed but he’s not currently living up to the Ipswich fan’s high praise.

Waste of subs position, considering there were a few that could have taken his spot.

I just mentioned this in the post-match thread (and I might regret it) – I genuinely think Chaplin will be good for us this season. He was bad today, granted, but once he is fully match fit and has got in the rhythm, I can see him becoming part of a rotation of players where we will be thankful that we have him.

Makes me laugh that we'd meant to be skint but we overloaded on attacking signings in the summer. Him, Cullen and Burns are all a waste of a wage!

Literally had 2 apps starts and already the doom squad are calling him a wasted wage :D :appl:

let him get fit first and get a few months under his belt, if he stays fit once up to scratch then his track record suggest he’ll be a great addition

I’m hoping all with prove their worth still but even if they do, they still feel like signings made to appease a manager the club always felt was out of their range.

It is exactly the same approach we took with Maresca.

It’s like living beyond your means with a credit card to make a woman believe you’re rich. Then she finds out at Christmas when you can’t afford the turkey. In Maresca’s case the Turkey was Sensi.

Problem I have is Chaplin, Cullen and BCDR are virtually the same player.

Poor squad building bring in both him and Cullen.

My issue as well. Very samey players on the bench with a complete lack of pace. Needs to be addressed in January

Yeah, imagine a pacy striker coming on yesterday, really would have been a great option for us. I expect some players to go back in Jan.

Never realised just how tiny he is. Yet to see anything on his brief cameos that suggest hell be a useful addition other than him being a "older head" in dressing room. Hope im wrong.

You filthy bastard, dont think i dont know what youre doing:P
