Bit of a contradictory post

A journeymen and L2 /L1 player in one breath and not a bad signing in another.

Not really, they are not mutually exclusive

Has a minor knee problem.

Next time we see him will be a photo looking dazed and confused in a hospital gown, thumb up with the quote 'the recovery starts here, back stronger' :(

This Connor Chaplin playing for us doesn't seem like the same one I remember at Ipswich.

Looks a shadow of his former self. I'm not just on about footballing stuff, it's  the way he holds himself on the pitch and passion he plays with. Remember him being a right bastard to play against, looks like he's on holiday at Butlins with us so far.

Hes played 60 minutes of a League cup game and 30 injured in the League. Relax..

Him and Burns remind me of when we signed Oakley and Howard and presumed they'd be mustard straight the way. Funnily enough both were when we dropped to League One but maybe it's going to need to be League Two for these pair 😂

I thought that he linked play much better than Cullen (low bar) but looked rusty with some heavy touches.

The reality is, we’re more likely to have last seasons version than the one that ripped up League One a few years ago.

Career on a downward trajectory? Wrong age profile, but have ‘experience’? Need one last decent contract?

Leicester City is here for you.

Don’t think it’s much of a surprise that most of the original Ipswich McKenna core have all tailed off and a lot of them struggled with injuries after an intense few years under him.

Ipswich have had our pants down for Chaplin and Burns. Too many miles on the clock unfortunately. Swiss Toni strikes again on Rudkin and co.
